New England is the home of Olde Ipswich Tours.  This is where we live and what we know.  For twenty years we have been showing guests of our New England tours the beauty of our picturesque harbors, mountain peaks, splendid forests and serene lakes. Our brilliant fall foliage is unequaled in the world.  Also our fresh Maine lobster and our sweet Ipswich clams.  Our  New England towns invite you to see their centuries-old architecture and  immerse yourself in the history of America before it was America. We welcome you into our homes to see how a culture that began with the Puritans has retained much of its original character. Some of our New England Tours include:

– Autumn in New England’s Villages: New England Tours

– Coastal New England: New England Tour

We also offer guided tours of the North of Boston area for any group size: wedding parties, families, school groups and friends! To name a few, our Nature Tour brings you to the salt marshes of the Ipswich River with a qualified ecologist; our History Tours cover early 17th century history to present-day; on our Best of Ipswich Tour you visit a 100-year-old apple orchard for the best cider donuts; try famous Ipswich fried clams; and visit either the beach or a local brewery. These are just a sample of our tours; for a complete listing, visit our website: Small Group Tours. If you have a particular interest, please contact us.

Castle Hill on the Crane Estate

Castle Hill is the centerpiece of the spectacular 2,100 acre Crane Estate, which is owned and managed by The Trustees of Reservations. The Great House, a glorious 59-room Stuart-style mansion, presides over Castle Hill’s 165 acres of designed and natural landscapes with commanding panoramic views of the ocean. Its famous, rolling lawn - the Grand Alleé - stretches half a mile from the portico of the Great House to the precipitous bluffs which overlook Crane Beach, a four-mile expanse of pristine, white-sand beaches and meandering trails across dunes also part of The Crane Estate.
