At Privateer Rum, our commitment to quality borders on obsession. We begin by selecting only the highest quality ingredients and the finest yeasts in the world. We ferment long and cool in the tradition of great spirits. We age our amber rum in the Maritime climate of New England where seasons naturally expand and contract our barrels. And then we cask-finish in used whiskey and brandy barrels. We invite you to visit our distillery, and experience our rich New England history as we lead you through a behind the scenes tour and tasting of our process and award winning spirits.

Its famous, rolling lawn - the Grand Alleé - stretches half a mile from the portico of the Great House to the precipitous bluffs which overlook Crane Beach, a four-mile expanse of pristine, white-sand beaches and meandering trails across dunes also part of The Crane Estate.
