Women of Essex: Stories to Share at the Essex Shipbuilding Museum

March 18 @ 5:00 pm - April 30 @ 5:00 pm

This exhibit focuses on remarkable women in the history of Essex. 

Funded in part by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, the exhibit is a collaborative effort of long time residents, museum staff, volunteers and contributors from Historic New England and Salem State University. 

Discover incredible stories including the story of our first meeting house, the tragedy of a young singer, and  our own baseball star.

Opening Reception: March 18 5-8 PM

Open Sunday March 19 10-5 and then weekends 10-5 until April 2. There will be a one weekend gap then it will be open Weekends from April 15 through the 30th.
