10th Annual Overdose Vigil

August 19, 2016 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm

A decade has passed since Healthy Streets hosted the first overdose remembrance vigil in Massachusetts, this year we host our 10th. Overdose deaths are steadily increasing and there seems to be no end or solution in sight.

According to Japanese legend for every 1000 cranes someone makes they will be granted a wish. The crane is also a symbol of hope and healing.

From now until mid-August, when we hold the vigil, we will be collecting paper cranes at the Lynn Office.

Make 1, make 10 or make 100.

They will be displayed at this year’s vigil and each one will represent someone we lost and loved and together we will make a wish.
