The 2019 Earth Port Film Festival features nine short films, ranging from 2 to 19 minutes, that tell engaging and inspiring stories of people in communities around the world impacted by and taking action to address the environmental challenges facing the Earth today. This year’s film selections include several genres — claymation, documentary, fantasy and parody —telling stories from Hawaii, Bolivia, India, Central America, Africa, Australia and mainland US. The topics include urban food resilience, solar power development, legal actions addressing climate challenges, ecological weed control and the relationship between humans and nature.
