The 32nd Gloucester Schooner Festival will be the biggest event in its history with over 25 schooners in Gloucester Harbor. Fun-filled activities are planned throughout the weekend including, Saturday’s Maritime Heritage Day, a lively, family-friendly street fair with entertainment, seafood demonstrations, food, artisans and activities; Saturday night’s lobster bake, concert and fireworks; Sunday morning’s spectacular Parade of Sail with participating schooners making their way through the harbor and out past the breakwater, to the Mayor’s Race starting area off Eastern Point; and Sunday night’s Parade of Lights.
