Come and explore Appleton Farms with us! Rolling grasslands, grazing livestock, stone walls, and historic farm buildings comprise this 1,000-acre pastoral landscape, offering a rare glimpse into New England’s agricultural past. Appleton Farms is one of the oldest continuously operating farms in the country and home to farm animals, wildlife and outstanding Massachusetts flora, fauna and foliage. We’ll begin our private, custom tour of the farm at 4pm, but encourage everyone to come early to enjoy the property, order farm fresh foods from the farm store and check out the exclusive “OIT Bundle” of gourmet items available for purchase on tour day only. After our special tour of the farm we will sit down to a spectacular dinner as the sun sets over this amazing property. Here you will experience true farm-to-table dining. After dinner we will get to experience one of Appleton’s best kept secrets – the full moon tour! Walk along the farm’s flat dirt roads while learning from our expert guide and soaking in the breathtaking vistas. Tour will end by 8:30pm.
Rain date is Friday, Oct. 9. Full Moon walk will be replaced by guided Pasture walk.
