Described as one of the most innovative musicians of his time, Prutsman moves easily from classical to jazz to world music styles. He continues to explore and seek common ground and relationships in the music of all cultures and languages. His Bach and Forth program is a global survey of classical, jazz and world music from the 1500s to present day interspersed with selections from Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier Book II as well as works from Wagner, Debussy, Charlie Parker and much more.
