Cody Forrest is a Boston-based composer, and in his own words, he “explores the human impulse to share stories, the interplay of musical dichotomies, and a diverse spectrum of expressivity”. He has received numerous awards, including the grand prize from Classic Pure Vienna International Composition, and ASCAP Morton Gould Young Composer Award, and received the Florence Price fellowship from the Gabriela Lena Frank Creative Academy of Music. Receiving his DMA from NEC, he has had teaching appointments at both NEC and Northeastern.
