What better way to enjoy Labor Day than attending a Multi-Cultural, Multi-Ethnic Labor & Social Justice Open-Air Arts & Music Festival? The Bread & Roses Heritage Festival features attractions for all ages!
Walk through the arts & crafts and community vendors as you make your way to grab some delicious ethnic food, listen to music across three stages, and discover our family activities. There are also opportunities to explore Lawrence and the history of the Bread & Roses Strike via the historic trolley and walking tours, our History & Labor Section, as well as Lawrence History Live! You may even step right up onto our Soap Box at the Community Corner and speak your mind!
Just a few of our performers include Bread and Puppet Theater, Andre Veloz, Catie Curtis, Tigerman WOAH, Angkor Dance Troupe, Ceschi, Ubuntu, Anthony Bernabel, and more! Learn about our performers and get a sneak peek of them on our website, breadandrosesheritage.org!
