Digital Photography: Seeing Like a Camera Workshop

June 20, 2016 @ 9:00 am - June 24, 2016 @ 4:00 pm

Instructor: David Wells
Monday – Friday 9am – 4pm* | June 20 – 24

Learn the best techniques to ‘see like a camera’ through a series of shooting, editing and critiquing exercises. This skill set proves the difference between a “lucky shot” and the consistent images of a pro. Learn what makes images that inspire us to go to that place, eat that food, or join that experience. Photographing on location in the North Shore, we will also better our understanding of available light, from daylight, shadow, night and twilight conditions. This is a lecture/shooting class for beginners and intermediates.

*About Course Hours: David Wells is an exceptional instructor, and to that end, he incorporates additional shoots in the early morning (6:30am / 7am) and evening hours (think sunset – 8pm). Students should come prepared to put in additional hours to get the most out of this fantastic class!
