What led to our current situation with asylum seekers at the southern border? Why are people fleeing Central America? What is President Trump doing regarding refugees and asylum, and why? What challenges do immigrants face in Massachusetts, and what can people do to support immigrants?
Come hear Alexandra Piñeros Shields, Aviva Chomsky and others with firsthand knowledge of US immigration history, policy, relations with Central America, and how they have brought us to the current crisis.
