Ladies’ Day

May 21 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Tickets Starting at: $20 – $25

Ladies’ Day created by Kirby Gosnell
portrays the final rallies and meetings of the women’s suffrage movement in Nashville, Tennessee as the Tennessee State Legislature considered ratification of the Women’s Suffrage Act, 19th Amendment to the United States’ Constitution in August 1920. Ladies’ Day presents the political propaganda and arguments on both sides of the topic, as they would have been presented to the public in 1920 and was developed using authentic speeches and propaganda songs from the suffrage movement. This production, a collaboration between Historic Beverly and the North Shore Players, will take place outside on the lawn at Hale Farm.

Limited capacity; parties up to 6 people are permitted. Tickets will not be sold on site; alcohol is not permitted.

Rain date: May 22, 6:00 pm

$25; $20 members.
