The North Shore Players of Danvers and Historic Beverly take you back to August, 1920, to Tennessee as the state legislature debates ratification of the Women’s Suffrage Act, the 19th Amendment to the United States Constitution. Beverly’s historical society joins with Danvers’ community theatre to present two hours of the songs and speeches, of both sides, of the suffrage movement. “Ladies’ Day” is on the lawn at Hale Farm, 39 Hale St., Beverly, at 6:30 p.m., August 20.
