Kirsten Swenson, Assistant Professor of Art History, Contemporary Art & Aesthetics at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, will discuss the work of LeWitt and Hesse in the context of the 1960s New York art scene. A book signing for Swenson’s new publication Irrational Judgments: Eva Hesse, Sol LeWitt, and 1960s New York will follow. This program will take place in the Museum Learning Center.
