Start your April Fools Weekend off with a belly full of laughs.Silly Theatre Productions & Northeast Arc partner up once again for another evening of sidesplitting Comedy in the beautiful new Peabody’s Black Box, 22 Foster St in Peabody. This rousing show will feature a firstact featuring Steve Halligan and Joe Espinola, professional comedians & a second act performance by North Shore’s premier Improv Comedy Troupe”Accidentally on Purpose.” Peabody’s Joe Espinola is an established name on the Boston Comedy scene, working regularly at Giggles and Kowloon on Route 1 in Saugus, as well as fund-raisers and one-nighters around New England. He’s also performed at theaters such as The Cabot in Beverly, theBlack Box in Peabody, and Amazing Things Arts Center in Framingham. Sly and engaging, his good-hearted sarcasm and droll point-of-view has earnedhim fans from Boston to Bangor. He’s worked with some of the top comedians in Boston, including Steve Sweeney, Lenny Clarke, Patty Ross and Paul D’Angelo. Steve Halligan is a former winner of the Beantown Comedy Contest, who has been heard on radio in Boston on KISS 108 and also the Anthony Cumia Show (from Opie and Anthony). He’s featured at the Gotham Comedy Club in New York City, as well as in clubs and theaters around New England. Accidentally On Purpose will be performing their comical Improv insanity in the style of the TV show ” Whose Line is it Anyway”.
