Mon./Wed. 7pm-9pm | Sept 30 – Oct 14
Explore one of the art world’s newest – and weirdest – mediums: the animated .gif. This class will teach students how to turn cellphone and YouTube videos into looping visual melodies. Final projects will be posted online and printed on lenticular plastic. The lenticular prints bring students’ digital work into the physical realm, serving as a unique memento or radical gift idea. This course is geared for students of varying backgrounds and digital skills. Some basic Photoshop knowledge will assist students in creating more complex projects, but is not required.
