The Marblehead Little Theatre announces tickets are now on sale for their upcoming production of “The Miracle Worker”. Written by William Gibson. Produced by Trudi Olivetti. Directed by Anne Lucas.
William Gibson’s “The Miracle Worker” is a tribute to two women who changed life forever for the deaf and blind in the world. Previously institutionalized as mental defectives, Helen Keller proved to the world that intelligence is not impaired by deafness or blindness. Born in 1880 in Tuscumbia, Alabama Helen’s future was dim, but through the love of her mother an Irish American legally blind teacher was brought to her from Boston. Annie Sullivan remained with Helen throughout her life as teacher and companion.
The production will run January 29 thru February 7 at The Marblehead Little Theatre, 12 School Street, Marblehead. Tickets prices are $25, with a special student price of $15 at Matinee performances only. Tickets are available for purchase at The Arnold Gallery, 111 Washington Street or online at www.mltlive.org.
