An event every day that begins at 1:00 pm, repeating until August 27, 2020
The National Archives Foundation and National Archives will host a virtual commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment, in which many women won the right to vote. The virtual commemoration is part of our Rightfully Hers: American Women and the Vote exhibit and initiative.
The series of programming will explore the complex story of the struggle for women’s suffrage, leading up to and beyond the certification of the 19th Amendment on August 26, 1920.
