Celebrate Nat’l Native American Month by joining us for traditional drumming & singing, inter-tribal dancing, visits inside the conical wigwam, storytelling, craft-making activities, traditional bark-basket making demonstration, hand drumming, an educational workshop, participate in the Pow-wow Passport Program, traditional Native foods, arts & crafts for sale, and other traditions that are part of this popular cultural-educational event. The event is open to the public. The pow-wow is sponsored by the Mass. Center for Native American Awareness (MCNAA) in Partnership with the Pingree School. It is supported in part by a grant from Essex County Community Foundations’ Creative Council Initiative;Merrimack Valley Magazine; and Hamilton-Wenham Cultural Council, a localagency of the Mass. Cultural Council, a state agency.
