Visit one of the most beautiful streets in America on Saturday, June 4 from 2pm – 6pm as the City of Newburyport, Newburyport Development, the Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce and the business owners of Inn Street in Newburyport host a special Inn Street Celebration and Rededication of the Inn Street Fountain. Activities commence at 2pm and include performances by the Greater Newburyport Children’s Chorus and St. Salerno Music Studio, face painting, complimentary Froyo cake samples from Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt and a free raffle sponsored by many of the retailers on Inn Street. Additionally, The Lab Rescue of Maine will be there with some adorable and adoptable dogs.
The official ribbon cutting of Inn Street’s newly remodeled fountain is at 3pm with a reception immediately following upstairs at the Phoenix Room, sponsored by Michael’s Harborside. Come enjoy complimentary refreshments and view historic photos of what Inn Street used to look like while listening to the sounds of saxophonist Danny Harrington. The day is complimentary and open to the public.
