It’s that time again! This year we are bringing our boat party ashore and putting a new twist on our annual summer gathering. We will be “partying for a purpose” and raising money to support the Michael J.Fox Foundation in efforts to find a cure for Parkinson’s. A little backstory…earlier this year, my good friend from Quinnipiac, David Blanchard, called to tell me that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s at the age of 37. As we talked through everything, one thing was very apparent, Dave was going to be taking this diagnosis with the most positive energy and direction that anyone could. He’s going to live life to the fullest and enjoy every second of good health he has. I immediately signed on to his cycling team for the New England Parkinson’s ride in September andit seemed only fitting to dedicate this year’s summer party to him andthe fight to cure Parkinson’s So there you have it. We are going to be raising money for a fantastic cause all while partying our asses off. We’ve got a truly unique venue locked down. We are transforming Peabody’s Black Box thanks to our creative team and Retonica Lighting. As always themusic will be bumping with a full line up being announced soon. Keep an eye out for more details in the days to come. Thank you in advance for yoursupport. See you on the dance floor!
