Join artist Marianne Thompson for a plein air painting workshop at Cogswell’s Grant. Beautiful vistas, including the Essex River and Great Marsh, farm fields and forests, and our eighteenth-century historic house and barns, offer an ideal setting for landscape painters looking to refine their skills with expert instruction, including work with a palette knife.
For this drop-in class, bring your own materials and equipment, receive direction as you work, and gather for an end-of-day critique with the instructor. A free tour of one of the country’s most celebrated collections of American folk art will be available. Weather permitting, please call.
