Come to the concert early to find out more about the repertoire being performed that evening.ABOUT THE LECTURER: Musicologist Andrew Shryock holds degrees from The Peabody Institute (b.Mus and M.M.) and Boston University (Ph.D.), and is on the music history faculty of the Boston Conservatory. His research examines the intersections of music, literature, and aesthetics in eighteenth-century England, and as a vocal performer he specialized in music of the Baroque era. His interest in music-text relations extends to hip-hop.
