It doesn’t matter if you are young or old, fast or slow, running in the Tortoise and Hare, everybody wins the race! The annual Tortoise and the Hare 10K will be run on Friday, September 17 at 6:00 p.m. with a new course on the newly completed Salisbury Coastal Rail Trail. This year, a 5K Run/Walk and one-mile Kids Fun Run, recommended for those 12 and under, have been added to the event. Post-race festivities include a beer tent sponsored by Enjoy Your Life and Riverwalk Brewing, live music by Evolvement Music, food trucks, and more.

Race day registration opens at 5:00 p.m. at the Hilton Senior Center, 43 Lafayette Road, Salisbury. The race starts at Lions Park.
