Schooner Adventure: Music Sails – Gloucester’s own Dan King

September 16 @ 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Adventure is bringing back musical sails this season featuring live music by local and international artists. A benefit concert under sail by American/European folk artists Janie Meneely and Rob Van Sante kicks off the series on Father’s Day, June 19 departing at 11 AM. Mid-summer brings an evening musical sail with Rockport artist Corey Wrinn on Friday, July 22 departing at 5 PM. The series culminates with the sounds of Gloucester born and internationally known Dan King for Adventure’s Anniversary Sail on Friday, September 16 departing at 5 PM. All musical sails include complimentary beverages. BYO Picnics are encouraged.

In addition to Public Sails, Adventure is available for private charters, corporate outings, and educational programs. Volunteer crew and docents are always needed to help maintain and sail the vessel and share the rich maritime heritage with students and passengers. Interested in learning about getting more involved with Adventure? Please contact: info@schooner-adventure.org or call 978-281-8079.

Consult Adventure’s website booking calendar about her sailing schedule, to purchase tickets, and for sailing FAQ. Join the Adventure and become a member for free and reduced-price sailing tickets. It’s a great way to show support for the only 501(c)3 non-profit vessel on the North Shore! www.schooner-adventure.org

When she isn’t out sailing off Cape Ann, Schooner Adventure is docked at Harriet Webster Pier off Harbor Loop in downtown Gloucester. Interested folks are encouraged to stop by for a visit and talk to her Captain and Crew about taking a sail. Visitors and locals alike won’t want to miss Adventure this season!
