The Tuesday Evening Book Club series is back for another year! This season, the program will include six books on themes with connections to historical events in Marblehead. The first book is The Last Days of Night by Graham Moore.
Based on true events, this fictional book recounts the technological turning point of electrical current. The rivalry between Thomas Edison and George Westinghouse is thrown for a loop with the arrival of Nicola Tessa. Just how safe is AC or DC current? Who will win the patent? And how did this industry shape America (and the world)? These questions and more will be discussed.
Mark your calendars for the March meeting! We will be reading The Ghosts of Eden Park by Karen Abbott. Visit www.marbleheadmuseum.org to see the list of 2021 book selections.
