SUMMARY:MLT presents A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder
DESCRIPTION:“A murderous romp filled with unforgettable music\, non-stop laughs…” (MTI) \nThe most-nominated show of the 2014 season\, winning Best Musical at the Tony Awards as well as the Drama Desk Awards\, the Outer Critics Circle Awards and the Drama League Awards. \nProduced by Andrew Barnett Directed by Alexandra Dietrich\nMusic Direction by David Flowers \nLow-born Monty Navarro finds out that he’s eighth in line for an earldom and figures his chances of outliving his predecessors are slight. Can he knock off his unsuspecting relatives without being caught and become the ninth Earl of Highhurst? And then there’s love\, because murder isn’t the only thing on Monty’s mind…. \n“Inspired and hilarious. ‘A Gentleman’s Guide’ will lift the hearts of all those who’ve been pining for what sometimes seems a lost art form: musicals that match streams of memorable melody with fizzily witty turns of phrase.” – Charles Isherwood from New York Times

SUMMARY:NEW Exhibition: Our Time on Earth
DESCRIPTION:Humans are just one species among millions\, coexisting in an expansive living network. Immerse yourself in installations envisioned by artists\, designers\, scientists\, technologists and changemakers from across 12 countries. Their cross-cultural and interdisciplinary collaborations open portals to a shared future\, in which planet and people flourish together. \nPart of PEM’s Climate + Environment Initiative\, this traveling exhibition from the Barbican Centre in London celebrates the power of global creativity to transform the conversation around the climate emergency. The structures and design featured in the exhibition are sourced from biodegradable\, sustainable materials to minimize carbon footprint. We invite you to imagine our ideal future world. What will it look like? How will we use the precious time we have here? Technology has brought us closer to nature than we have ever been before\, and Indigenous insight continues to reconnect us to our roots. What will it take to live together in harmony? \nWalk up to a table set for dinner\, but imagine the guests include a fox and a wasp. Plunge into a virtual ocean with magnified plankton\, and peer through the layers of a tree to experience the microscopic foundations of life.
