SUMMARY:THE NET WORKS: a multi-sensory installation built upon the narrative of Gloucester’s fishing community
DESCRIPTION:The Net Works is a multi-sensory installation built upon the narrative of Gloucester’s fishing community. The net serves as a literal and metaphorical symbol in an immersive exhibit that includes scents\, sounds\, and tactile experiences\, where visitors\, like fish\, move through a passage of netting. It evolved during the pandemic and artist Erika Senft Miller’s consequent virtual residency with the Manship Artists Residency in 2020. Many local organizations and community members have collaborated on this endeavor. \nReservations required\, reserve your free tickets here.

SUMMARY:Juston McKinney
DESCRIPTION:Come on out for a riotous night of comedy with New Hampshire’s own Juston McKinney! With multiple appearances on The Tonight Show\, two Comedy Central specials\, two Amazon Prime specials\, and now his latest\, On the Bright Side\, it’s no wonder the New York Times called Juston McKinney “destined for stardom.”\nThe Portsmouth native spent seven years as a York County Deputy Sheriff before trading in his badge for a microphone and went from York County to New York City to pursue a career in comedy. He quickly became a regular at Comic Strip Live\, Stand-Up New York\, Dangerfield’s\, Gotham Comedy Club\, and Caroline’s on Broadway. Juston would go on to sign sitcom development deals with Warner Brothers\, CBS\, IFC and Comedy Central.\nHe has appeared on numerous Comedy Central shows including his half-hour Comedy Central Presents special and his own one-hour special.  He has appeared several times on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien as well as a Showtime Comedy Special with Rob Gronkowski. He has appeared twice at Denis Leary’s\, Comics Come Home at the TD Garden. His TV & movie credits include The King of Queens\,100 Centre Street\, The Zoo Keeper and Here Comes the Boom. He recently wrote and starred in the short film\, Suck It Up\, which screened at the NH Film Festival. He was awarded “Best Acting Performance.”\nHe currently lives in New Hampshire with his wife\, kids and dogs. When not “dadding” he can be seen touring theaters and clubs all over the country.

SUMMARY:Eurydice
DESCRIPTION:Eurydice reimagines the classic myth of Orpheus and Eurydice not through Orpheus’s infamous pilgrimage to retrieve his bridge\, but through the eyes of its heroine. Dying too young on her wedding day\, Eurydice must journey to the underworld\, where she reunites with her father and struggles to remember her lost love. With contemporary characters\, ingenious plot twists\, and breathtaking visual effects\, the play is a fresh look at a timeless love story.
