DESCRIPTION:Gloucester\, MA — Rocky Neck Art Colony (RNAC) is pleased to present Making an Impression: Traditional Techniques\, Contemporary Vision\, an exhibition featuring the work of 19 artists from Cape Ann and beyond exploring the rich and varied language of printmaking. Through both traditional and contemporary approaches\, the exhibition showcases a diverse range of techniques\, offering a thoughtfully curated selection that reflects the vitality and creative possibilities of the medium today. \nFor centuries\, artists have developed innovative methods for creating multiple original impressions from a single matrix. In Making an Impression\, participating artists employ a variety of printmaking processes\, often combining techniques or incorporating additional materials to expand the expressive potential of their work.
