The artworks may be small\, yet are big on creativity using various mediums\, all featured in the first floor Sargent Gallery. \nThis exhibition coincides with Newburyport Art’s Watercolor Featured Interest Group Show\, on view in the first floor Hills Gallery. The Watercolor Featured Interest Group Show will share an opening reception with Small Works on Saturday\, July 12th\, from 4-6pm. The public is welcome to attend\, meet some of the exhibiting artists\, and enjoy light refreshments. \nFounded in 1948\, Newburyport Art is dedicated to promoting and exhibiting members’ work and to providing art education and access to the visual arts for the entire community. \nThe galleries are free and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00am–5:00pm and Sunday from 1:00pm–5:00pm. The idea is to increase our powers of observation and quickly capture the essence of a scene. People who want to improve their drawing or be “in the moment” intensely will enjoy this class. Students will be encouraged to find a topic that excites them and to create a documentary series. This class will be held on July 8\, July 15\, July 22\, July 29.

This show features over 80 art pieces that are all 10” x 10” in size. The artworks may be small\, yet are big on creativity using various mediums\, all featured in the first floor Sargent Gallery. \nThis exhibition coincides with Newburyport Art’s Watercolor Featured Interest Group Show\, on view in the first floor Hills Gallery. The Watercolor Featured Interest Group Show will share an opening reception with Small Works on Saturday\, July 12th\, from 4-6pm.
