With multiple appearances on The Tonight Show\, two Comedy Central specials\, two Amazon Prime specials\, and now his latest\, On the Bright Side\, it’s no wonder the New York Times called Juston McKinney “destined for stardom.”\nThe Portsmouth native spent seven years as a York County Deputy Sheriff before trading in his badge for a microphone and went from York County to New York City to pursue a career in comedy. He quickly became a regular at Comic Strip Live\, Stand-Up New York\, Dangerfield’s\, Gotham Comedy Club\, and Caroline’s on Broadway. Juston would go on to sign sitcom development deals with Warner Brothers\, CBS\, IFC and Comedy Central.\nHe has appeared on numerous Comedy Central shows including his half-hour Comedy Central Presents special and his own one-hour special.  He has appeared several times on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien as well as a Showtime Comedy Special with Rob Gronkowski. He has appeared twice at Denis Leary’s\, Comics Come Home at the TD Garden. His TV & movie credits include The King of Queens\,100 Centre Street\, The Zoo Keeper and Here Comes the Boom. He recently wrote and starred in the short film\, Suck It Up\, which screened at the NH Film Festival. He was awarded “Best Acting Performance.”\nHe currently lives in New Hampshire with his wife\, kids and dogs. When not “dadding” he can be seen touring theaters and clubs all over the country.

In Couples Therapy we explore and exploit these differences in all their magnificent and hilarious glory. \nCouples Therapy is a 90-minute theatrical show led by a pair of married\, relationship experts who dynamically take on several characters and skits throughout the performance. From start to finish the performers interact with the audience both directly as well as through response surveys that are completed prior to the show. It is truly a unique and clever combination of theatre\, stand-up comedy\, and improv that is as funny as it is insightful. \nAudiences go on a hilarious and interactive ride as the relationship experts attempt to help couples with their relationships\, but as the show wears on we see that they have more problems than their patients! \nAnd fear not guys\, this is not one of those beat down sessions on men. Instead\, we equally explore\, appreciate\, and laugh at the differences between men and women. Couples Therapy offers endless humor packed with practical relationship advice rooted in science and psychology (we really did our homework!) DESCRIPTION:Break those winter blues for a night of laughs as Comedy Night returns to the Firehouse featuring some of the best comedic talent in the region! Hosted by Mike Smith with headliner Rafi Gonzalez along with Jason Merrill and Jay Martin. \nRafi Gonzalez has skyrocketed to the top of the comedy ranks and is touring nationally and internationally as a headlining performer on Carnival Cruise lines. He has appeared on HBO MAX as part of the Ha Comedy Festival\, was a finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival and was voted “Best of the Fest” in The Noho Comedy Festival and The Burbank Comedy Festival in Los Angeles. In 2022\, Gonzalez participated in the prestigious San Francisco Comedy Competition and has appeared on Gotham Comedy TV Live\, The Punchline\, MGM Springfield\, Laugh Boston\, and major clubs nationally. \nJason Merrill works the top clubs in New England and is a featured performer at Giggles\, Kowloon\, The Tupelo\, the Bradley Playhouse and more\, as well as sharing the stage with the likes of comedy stars Lenny Clarke\, Steve Sweeney\, and Paul D’Angelo. Merrill quickly rose through the comedy ranks and is well on his way to being a star on the Boston comedy scene. \nJay Martin is an up and coming comedian selected to perform in the Rogue Island Comedy Festival and is a regular at Laugh Boston\, Off Cabot Comedy Club and most recently had his first headlining weekend at Nick’s Comedy Stop.
