DESCRIPTION:Find tranquility this July 4th weekend at the Marblehead Arts Association! \nTake time this July 4th to enjoy inspiring artworks\, browse for unique\, handcrafted gifts\, spend an evening quietly reading\, and relax with afternoon tea & cake at the Marblehead Arts Association. \nThe Marblehead Arts Association Summer Exhibition is now on with a display of stunning fine art\, photography and 3D\, including works by newly juried members. Galleries and gift shop are open Wednesday to Sunday\, 12-5pm. Admission is free. \nThursday July 2nd\, 6 – 8pm: Silent Book Reading Party\nSpend a relaxing evening of literary escape hosted by the Marblehead Festival of Arts\, in partnership with the Marblehead Arts Association. Enjoy uninterrupted reading in a quiet setting\, perfect for starting your summer reading list. Cost $10. \nSaturday July 4th & Sunday July 5th\, 1-4pm: Tea in the Tavern\nTake a break on Saturday & Sunday afternoon with a welcome cup of tea in beautiful bone china\, and enjoy a cookie or cake in the historic Tavern at the Hooper Mansion – or in the exquisite courtyard garden\, a hidden gem behind the Marblehead Arts Association!
