SUMMARY:Legally Blonde the Musical JR.
DESCRIPTION:The Gloucester Stage Youth Company will have Gloucester thinking pink when they present their production of Legally Blonde JR. \nDelta Nu sorority president Elle Woods seems to have it all: good looks\, a relationship with the “campus catch\,” and great taste in clothes. However her life is turned upside-down when her boyfriend\, Warner\, dumps her in an attempt to start getting “serious” about his future and attend Harvard Law. Determined to win him back\, Elle uses a lot of hard work and some charm to get into Harvard Law so she can prove to Warner that she’s serious enough for him. Once at school\, she is challenged by her peers\, professors and her ex\, but with the help of some new friends\, Elle realizes her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world. There is no dress code\, but please don’t wear white after Labor Day \nWith a book by Heather Hach\, music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin\, Legally Blonde JR. is based on the book by Amanda Brown and the hit Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer motion picture starring Reese Witherspoon. \nGloucester Stage Company presents: Legally Blonde JR.

SUMMARY:Women of Agriculture Hike at Appleton Farms
DESCRIPTION:Join us to celebrate International Women’s Day at Appleton Farms! Women have shaped Appleton Farms for centuries: from Indigenous women who were the primary farmers and preservers of food\, to Joan Appleton and her ancestors\, to our current Trustees staff farmers. Learn about these women and the grit it takes to thrive as a woman in the male-dominated farm world. Get outside and moving on a winter day\, exploring the dormant crop fields\, forest trails\, and sweeping pastures of Appleton. \nAccessibility: This hike has a moderate level of difficulty on gently hilly terrain\, expect it to last approximately 2.5 hours. Be sure to wear weather appropriate clothing and boots or shoes that are appropriate for hiking in potentially wet and muddy spots or over uneven terrain\, or in light precipitation. We recommend you bring your own water bottle. Single use plastics are not permitted on site.
