DESCRIPTION:Carlson Education Center & Janet & William Ellery James Center\nCAM Green\, 13 Poplar Street\, Gloucester\, MA\nCAM Members Free\, Non-Members $5\nRegistration required as space is limited. \nThe Redcoat in CAM’s collection is the only surviving example of a British enlisted man’s uniform of this era and was captured during the War of 1812. Join us for a deep dive to learn about the coat and the Gloucester families behind the story. \nJoin us Thursdays for a unique experience. Led by a CAM docent\, these deep dives into a single artwork or object from the Collection will begin with conversation\, a short presentation and complimentary coffee at the Carlson Center\, followed by a special trip to the James Center to view the object being discussed.
