From reggae riddims with former band Pier Ave to the summertime hip hop melody of his latest single ‘Find My Island’\, CFG brings a vibe and energy that is a perfect fit amongst your favorite good vibes artists. \nHAYLEY REARDON\nHayley Reardon is a critically acclaimed singer/songwriter and a storyteller in the truest sense of the word. Her songs serve as postcards from an artist brave enough to take the road less traveled. Reardon dove head first into music at the young age of 15\, and has spent much of the past decade writing\, recording and performing music around the world.\nRaised in a coastal Massachusetts town north of Boston\, Reardon spent three years based in Nashville and the past six years carrying her songs and stories all over the globe — including a six-month artist-in-residency stay in Dachau\, Germany — gathering experiences\, inspiration and soulful connections. Her ever-deepening music carries a lyrical and melodic weight beyond her years\, being described as “brilliantly moving folk/pop with a lyrical depth and soul” (Performer Magazine) and “a melancholy little masterpiece” (American Songwriter Magazine). No Depression writes “Reardon is truly a treasure.”\nHer latest release Changes (July 20\, 2023) is the continuation of a journey that began with Reardon’s 2022 release In the Good Light. Both projects were recorded in Barcelona with Catalan collaborators Pau Figueres (producer and one of Spain’s premiere instrumentalists) and Aniol Bestit Collellimir (recording engineer). The title track on Changes features an original\, bilingual duet with Catalan sensation Judit Neddermann\, with whom Reardon formed a deep musical bond during her time in Barcelona and who appears on the EP courtesy of Universal Music Spain.\nReardon’s songs have found a home on Spotify Editorial Playlists like Fresh Folk\, Folk Pop\, Morning Coffee and Today’s Singer/Songwriters\, as well as Apple Music’s Acoustic Chill and New in Singer/Songwriter. She totes over 6 million streams on Apple Music alone and has shared the stage with renowned artists including Lori McKenna\, Rodney Crowell and Anaïs Mitchell\, among others. \nJUDIT NEDDERMANN\nBarcelona\, 1991. A singer and a composer\, she has released five solo albums and a joint album with her sister Meritxell Neddermann. She has collaborated\, recording or sharing the stage\, with artists such as Joan Manuel Serrat\, Alejandro Sanz\, Pedro Guerra\, MARO\, Noa\, Jorge Drexler\, Andrés Suárez\, Rozalén\, Miguel Poveda\, Macaco\, and among others.She is a recognized singer in Catalonia\, two years ago she started singing in new countries such as Mexico\, Argentina\, Uruguay and Italy.\nShe is the composer of the original score for the play ‘When I sing\, mountains dance’\, a play based on the novel of the same name by Irene Solà. SUMMARY:Todd Hearon
DESCRIPTION:Todd Hearon is an award-winning poet and songwriter\, born in Fort Worth\, Texas\, and raised in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. The hymns and folk songs of his youth continue to influence his music\, along with more edgy\, contemporary Americana and Country-Rock sounds. He played bass and guitar for The Spin\, one of the most successful alternative rock bands to come out of the Dallas Deep Ellum scene in the 1990s. After a career spanning six years and four albums\, extensive touring and the cultivation of a broad fan base\, he hung up his musical hat for graduate school in Boston\, earning his Masters and PhD in English and Irish Studies\, and co-founding The Bridge Theater Company\, an independent troupe in Boston’s Theater District. He’s the author of three collections of poems\, Strange Land\, No Other Gods\, and Crows in Eden\, several plays and a novella\, DO GEESE SEE GOD. He has received a PEN/New England ”Discovery” Award\, the Friends of Literature Prize (Poetry magazine and the Poetry Foundation)\, the Rumi Poetry Prize (Arts & Letters) and the Campbell Corner Poetry Prize (Sarah Lawrence College). He was the Dobie Paisano Fellow/Writer-in-Residence at the University of Texas in Austin and served as the Dartmouth Poet-in-Residence at the Frost Place in Franconia\, New Hampshire. His poems\, essays and plays have appeared widely in literary journals in this country and abroad.​Music has never been far from his center\, even as he extended his reaches into other art forms. Armed with a 1950 Gibson J-50 named Myrtle\, and a host of new songs that hearken back to his roots in southern folkways and deep-flowing Americana streams\, he’s back\, ready to share his music with the world. Border Radio and Yodelady are his first two studio albums.
