Authentic big band sound. \nThe music of the Swing Era (1935-1946) reached mainstream popularity among young people back in the day\, and the 18-piece Beantown Swing Orchestra will show you why. The band trains teen musicians using pre-WWII instruments on performance techniques that made their great-grandparents want to dance as youngsters themselves. These old-school methods are so specialized and unknown by most modern musicians that the result is a “new” and refreshing sound that can be best experienced in certain venues\, such as The Cut Live with its dance hall acoustics and vintage vibe. Enjoy the glory and excitement of big band music as people did over 80 years ago!
