DESCRIPTION:Marblehead Little Theatre is delighted to announce Paciencia y Fé\, a performance of Latin Broadway Music to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month\nOn Saturday\, September 13\, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.\, Marblehead Little Theatre will hold a performance of Latin Broadway Music\, “Paciencia y Fé\,” in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.\nSeptember 13\, 2025\, 2:00 p.m.\nMarblehead Little Theatre\n12 School St | Marblehead\, MA\nFrom West Side Story to A Chorus Line to In the Heights to Buena Vista Social Club\, Latin American characters’ stories of Latinidad have been at the heart of many of Broadway’s most beloved musicals.\nIn celebration of kicking off Hispanic Heritage Month\, Paciencia y Fe (Patience and Faith) features Latine musicians performing songs from Evita\, Man of la Mancha\, The Capeman\, The Addams Family\, Coco\, Encanto\, In the Heights\, and many more. While the Latine experience is non-monolithic\, these songs told through the lived experiences of these performers highlight the complex intersection of heritage and culture found throughout the Latin American diaspora.\nCo-conceived by Alexandra Dietrich and Nathan Rodriguez\, this performance will be a fundraiser for the Immigrant Defenders Law Center\, a next-generation social justice 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization law firm that defends our immigrant communities against injustices in the immigration system.\nThe performance will break down the cost barrier of admission by being free for all\, though a suggested donation of $20 for those able to do so.\nABOUT MLT:\nStarted in 1955 by members of the Marblehead Women’s Club\, the award-winning Marblehead Little Theatre is one of the oldest community theater groups in New England\, having consistently presented live-theater productions for over six decades. John was a great communicator of the human experience whittled down to the best words. His big\, little brother\, owner of a rich\, booming voice yet full of subtleness\, is one of the finest orators you’ll ever hear – also choosing just the right turn of phrase. \nDuring these concerts celebrating John’s life in song\, Billy will tell stories about or surrounding some of John’s most beloved songs before leading his band through his version of John’s timeless masterpieces. As an example\, fans will get to hear the first time John played his classic song “Paradise” for their father as the family sat around the kitchen table. \nSongs are stories\, novellas\, if you will\, and stories often become songs. It is only fitting that in the course of each show during this tour\, that Billy relates – as only he can – the stories that surround the songs of his dear brother John. \nWith special guest\, Scarlett Egan.

The six powerhouse musicians have been playing together since they were kids – learning and growing through shared experiences in jazz\, theatre\, a cappella\, and orchestra. Now\, The “New Act of the Year” recipient at the New England Music Awards engage their audiences with lush vocals and groovy horn lines\, supported by undeniable chemistry and raw star quality. Their goal is to include audiences in their infectious joy and spread the love of funk and soul music. \nTaking after the likes of Fleetwood Mac\, Eagles\, and Earth\, Wind & Fire\, The Far Out is stacked with multiple lead singers and songwriters. Most recently\, Joe released a reimagining and re-recording of the original Evil Dead score called “Evil Dead: A Nightmare Reimagined\,” where he re-recorded and expanded on the original musical themes of the movie. \nEvil Dead follows five college students on vacation in an isolated cabin in the woods\, where they unwittingly release absolute evil into the world and have to fight to survive.
