Appleton will be slinging their famous pies which are not to be missed! We’ll have Notch Brewing on-site serving up some beer\, wine\, and cider\, with barbecue from Fat Belly Food Truck and sweet treats from DownRiver Ice Cream. \nEnjoy music from Orville Giddings and Gravity Rising.\nOrville Giddings will take the stage from 12:30-2:30\, and Gravity Rising from 3:00-5:00. \nPlease select either 12pm\, 1pm or 2:30pm for your timed-ticket entrance fee. Tickets are by the car – $20 for Trustees Members and $30 for nonmembers. Carpooling is encouraged! The cost will cover parking and access to this special event\, including the concert and games. Food\, hayrides and beer must be purchased separately and are available only at the event. \nSpace is limited and pre-registration is strongly suggested. This event is known to sell out! Limited seating is available. We recommend bringing blankets or camping chairs. He appears regularly on the world’s foremost concert stages and has performed with all the major American orchestras as well as leading international ensembles including the Berlin Philharmonic\, Vienna Philharmonic\, Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra\, Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra\, and London Philharmonic Orchestra. \nDuring the 2025 summer festival season\, Hadelich appears with the Boston Symphony Orchestra at Tanglewood\, the Mahler Chamber Orchestra at the Enescu Festival in Bucharest\, and the Orchestre de Paris at the Lucerne Festival\, in addition to performances at the BBC Proms\, Aspen Music Festival\, and Grant Park Music Festival. He holds an Artist Diploma from The Juilliard School\, is on the faculty of the Yale School of Music\, and performs on the 1744 Guarneri del Gesù “Leduc\, ex Szeryng\,” on loan from the Tarisio Trust. \nJENNIFER FRAUTSCHI\, violin\nTwo-time GRAMMY nominee and Avery Fisher career grant recipient violinist Jennifer Frautschi has appeared as soloist with innumerable orchestras such as the Cincinnati Symphony\, Chicago Symphony\, Los Angeles Philharmonic\, Milwaukee Symphony\, Minnesota Orchestra\, and St Paul Chamber Orchestra. She is an artist-member of the Boston Chamber Music Society and has appeared at all of the major chamber music festivals in America. \nHer extensive discography includes the Stravinsky Violin Concerto with the Philharmonia Orchestra and Prokofiev’s Violin Concerti with the Seattle Symphony. Born in Pasadena\, California\, Jennifer performs on a 1722 Stradivarius violin known as the “ex-Cadiz\,” and teaches at Stony Brook University. \nHSIN-YUN HUANG\, viola\nHsin-Yun Huang is recognized as one of the foremost violists of her generation\, admired for her expressive artistry\, advocacy for new music\, and commitment to education. She has appeared as soloist with leading orchestras including the Berlin Radio Orchestra\, Bavarian Radio Orchestra\, Tokyo Philharmonic\, Bogotá Philharmonic\, and Beijing’s NCPA Orchestra\, becoming the first violist to perform a concerto there. \nA sought-after chamber musician\, she appears regularly at festivals such as Marlboro\, Santa Fe\, Music@Menlo\, and La Jolla\, and has toured extensively with the Brentano String Quartet. Huang is the founder of VivaViola!\, dedicated to expanding the viola repertoire through collaboration and dialogue. She serves on the viola faculties of The Juilliard School and The Curtis Institute of Music\, and performs on a 1735 Testore viola. \nBARRY SHIFFMAN\, viola\nRockport Music’s Classical and Rockport Chamber Music Festival Artistic Director\, Barry Shiffman\, viola\, is a distinguished performer\, educator\, and arts leader. A founding member of the St. Lawrence String Quartet\, he appeared in more than 2\,000 concerts worldwide and recorded extensively for EMI Classics. Equally respected as a teacher and administrator\, he holds senior leadership roles at the Banff Centre and The Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. \nJAMES BAIK\, cello\nCellist James Baik has been praised for his “undeniable authority” and “warmth emerging in lyricism” (Le Soir) following his acclaimed performance at the 2021 Queen Elisabeth Competition. A First Prize Winner of the 2023 Young Concert Artists Susan Wadsworth International Auditions\, he is a YCA Jacobs Fellow\, recipient of the Paul A. Fish Memorial Prize and Bridgehampton Chamber Music Prize\, and is managed worldwide by Young Concert Artists. \nRecent highlights include recital debuts at the Kennedy Center and Merkin Hall\, concerto appearances with the Kansas City Symphony\, Colburn Orchestra under Sir Andrew Davis\, Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie\, and chamber performances at Rockport\, Bridgehampton\, and Buffalo. With the ensemble\, he is a winner of the Concert Artists Guild International Competition\, Young Canadian Musicians Award\, and recipient of Second Prizes at the Munich ARD and Banff International String Quartet Competitions\, as well as the Székely Prize for Best Interpretation of Beethoven. \nA JUNO-nominated artist and producer\, Fung has performed more than 600 concerts worldwide at venues including Carnegie Hall\, Wigmore Hall\, the Kennedy Center\, and Amsterdam’s Muziekgebouw.
