SUMMARY:The Meditations

SUMMARY:Deric Dyer - Music & Stories from a Life of Touring with Tina Turner and Joe Cocker
DESCRIPTION:Doors 6:00pm\nShow 7:00pm\n21+\, Positive ID Required\nPremium Seating with cocktail service: $44.50-$49.50 + $6.95 service fee\nStandard Seating with cocktail service: $39.50 + $6.95 service fee\nRear Floor Seating: $34.50 + $6.95 service fee\nGA Standing: $29.50 + $6.95 service fee \n+ $5 Day of Show \nDeric Dyer was born in Ireland and lived in England until 1967\, when his trumpet-player father moved his family to Bermuda – where Deric’s musical career began. In Spring of 1975\, after meeting Cliff Goodwin and joining the American Standard Band\, Deric moved to America. Just two years later\, ASB would become Joe Cocker‘s band. Playing in Joe’s horn section with the legendary Bobby Keys\, “Rolling Stones\, Stevie Wonder” Deric quickly learned the art of Rock/R&B sax. This proved to be valuable experience for what was still to come in his career. After a couple of years of playing with Joe\, Deric left to play and record with many of the best of Boston’s music scene\, a highlight recording with Rick Ocasek of The Cars on his first solo album Beatitude. \nDeric’s next life-changing opportunity came in January 1987\, when he had the good fortune to audition for Rock And Roll Hall of Fame -Tina Turner. He spent an amazing two years as part of her Break Every Rule World Tour\, and when Tina was paired with Joe Cocker on Summer festival shows in Germany\, Deric and Joe rekindled their friendship. Deric wasn’t home long from TT tour when manager Michael Lang (Woodstock Promoter) called to ask if he would like to re-join Joe Cocker and the rest of the band for the Unchain My Heart World Tour. Deric jumped at the chance to revisit that special time in his career. \nDeric continued to tour with Joe throughout the 80’s\, 90’s\, and 2000’s\, as well as playing with Roger Hodgson\, Al Jarreau\, Tony Hadley and Andrea Bocelli. Belgium’s Night of The Proms reunited him with his Tina band mate (and the best man at his wedding)\, John Miles. In 2012 and 2013\, Deric was asked to take part in the John Lennon Double Fantasy Bermuda Tribute Concerts\, where he worked with Maxi Priest\, Biggie Irie\, Roy Young\, Uzimon and many amazing Bermudian artists to celebrate the music of John Lennon. \nTwo years after losing Joe\, arguably the greatest voice in Rock & Roll\, Deric reached out to his old friends to ask if they could come together again to help keep Joe’s music alive. Their answer was a resounding “YES!” and “Mad Dogs Unchained” was born. MDU went on to play Worcester’s Bull Mansion (among other New England venues)\, release an hour-long documentary video with a live CD\, and travel Europe for eighteen shows in 2018. \nDuring the pandemic\, Deric also collaborated with James Duncan and Tony Brannon to produce “Hope!” – a song for the time – with the goal of helping lift the spirits of people everywhere. \nDeric Produced the Trilbee Kings album. Working with Executive Producer Rich Kneeland\, Deric & Rich\, with some of the best musicians in the world\, headed of to Los Angeles to record at the famous Sunset Sound Studios. Deric plays soaring solos that adds the final\, rich sound to the T.K. Album. \nOn July 4th 2023 Deric performed in celebration of Tina Turner at New York City’s Macy’s/NBC fireworks display\, seen live by millions all over the world. Later that year was a special guest speaker at the Tina Turner Museum – West Delta Heritage Center Brownsville TN. Deric also rereleased Renaissance Man with the additional track “Tennessee Waltz” Sept 2023. \nThis September brings the release of Deric’s sixth album Red String. A beautiful mix of classic songs from Dylan “Make You Feel My Love” Lennon “Imagine” to Jim Webb “Wichita Lineman” Another captivating musical journey!

SUMMARY:Mighty Mystic with Double Tiger
DESCRIPTION:Mighty Mystic is considered as one of the leaders in the international reggae scene and is a box office draw at venues and a staple at festivals. The Jamaican born U.S. based artist has 5 highly acclaimed albums 4 of which charted top 10 on Billboard and iTunes. He is labeled as a touring machine with roughly 40 tours equaling thousands of concerts and a career spanning two decades. His high flying\, stage diving\, brand of reggae music is electrifying and has been captivating audiences everywhere. He has gone from being a fan of reggae music to being a major contributor to the art. Mighty Mystic came on the scene in 2006 after scoring back-to-back international hits with “Riding on the Clouds” and “Revolution”. However\, it wasn’t until the release of his first album “Wake up the World” (2010) that he became a household name. “Wake up the World” was a chart-topping album with guest appearance by reggae icon Shaggy. Mystic continues to wake up the world with energy and passion and a brand of his own which he emphatically calls “Hard Roots”. \nFUN FACT: Mighty Mystic is also the younger brother of current Jamaican Prime Minister the Honorable Andrew Holness. When asked\, does being the brother of Prime Minister Holness have any impact on your music? Mystic simply says “Andrew has a job to do and so do I\, impact or not we both have our own mission to complete”. \nTHE EARLY YEARS\nMighty Mystic was born Kevin Mark Holness in the farming community of Goshen\, St. Elizabeth\, Jamaica to parents Morris & Sonia Holness. As a child\, Kevin showed early interest in his native island’s music. It was common to hear him singing the latest tunes while imitating the actions of popular reggae artists. When Kevin was 9\, the family left Goshen and relocated to Boston. Though oceans apart Kevin never lost the passion for his beloved reggae music. Kevin alongside his brother Stephen began performing at school talent shows\, outdoor gatherings and anywhere a mic was on display and quickly made a name for themselves as the “reggae rappers”. Soon after the brothers formed their first band the “Thunder Band”. Kevin became “Mystic” as it was his dads nickname and also the name of the area in Boston where he lived. With Mystic on vocals and Stephen on the lightening sharp guitar the brothers would score a National hit (Riding on the Clouds) and a Global hit (Revolution) on their two first releases. This early success and family bond would be the foundation of which carefully crafted reggae music would flow. \nMYSTIC OF TODAY\nThough his brother Stephen has since retired\, Mighty Mystic has continued to carry the reggae torch. And is now a Globally respected and sought-after artist on the reggae scene. His brand of “HARD ROOTS” with his high energy stage performance has been a magnet for the enthusiastic reggae fan base. He has managed to hold firm to his Jamaican roots while adding elements of Hip Hop and Rock giving Mystic his own identifiable sound. To date Mighty Mystic has released 5 successful albums Wake up the World 2010\, Concrete World 2014\, The Art of Balance 2016\, Enter the Mystic 2019 and Giant 2022. Many of his releases have become cult like favorites within the global reggae genre. He has come a long way from performing at school talent shows to now sharing the stage with some of the greats like Ziggy Marley\, Steel Pulse\, Damian Marley\, Buju Banton\, Stephen Marley\, Shaggy\, SOJA\, Toots and the Maytals\, Collie Buddz\, Sean Paul\, Lee Scratch Perry\, Barrington Levy\, The Wailers\, John Brownʼs Body\, Dirty Heads Third World\, Freddie McGregor\, Capleton and the list goes on… Whether club\, festival or TV you can be sure to be entertained by the vibes provided by Mighty Mystic. Be on the lookout for his up-coming 2022 “Giant” Album release world tour. \nDOUBLE TIGER\nDouble Tiger (Jay Spaker) is an acclaimed producer\, vocalist\, and multi-instrumentalist who has become a central figure in the modern American reggae and dub scene. Originally gaining prominence as a key collaborator and producer for the influential label Dub-Stuy Records\, he is known for heavily integrating sound system culture into contemporary roots aesthetics.\nAs a solo artist and front-man\, his music blends smooth\, melodic vocals with heavy\, 1980s-inspired steppers and rub-a-dub riddims. He is also a long-time guitarist and vocalist for John Brown’s Body\, firmly establishing his credentials within the progressive reggae-rock landscape.

DESCRIPTION:18+\, Positive I.D. Required \n“A Band Of Brothers” isn’t just an Allman Brothers tribute band; they’re a powerhouse\, uniting the top-tier talent of the East Coast. The brainchild of ace Boston guitarists Ryan Taylor and Johnny Trama\, this collective\, more than a mere homage\, harness the Allman Brothers tradition as a vehicle to bring a unique and exciting experience every night. The ensemble features artists from an array of bands including – North Mississippi Allstars \,Dickey Betts and Great Southern\, Pink Talking Fish\, Neighbor\, Dub Apocalypse\, Peter Wolf’s Midnight Travelers\, Dickey Betts Great Southern\, Slightly Stoopid\, Sonya Rae Taylor\, Band of Killers and more. \nMatt Zeiner began his professional music career touring with Matt “Guitar” Murphy\, who exposed him to a fusion of blues and jazz. His career took a significant turn in 2000 when Dickey Betts of the Allman Brothers Band recruited him as a keyboardist and vocalist\, leading to a fruitful collaboration and tour. \nRyan Taylor on slide guitar spearheads the band with his exceptional talents. His journey\, steeped in the rich musical traditions of Austin and Nashville\, saw Ryan honing his craft the old-fashioned way. \nJohnny Trama on guitar conjures up riffs and rhythms that speak volumes. His journey through the realms of rock\, soul\, and blues\, playing with icons like Bettye LaVette and Jesse Dee\, has armed him with a mystical musical prowess. \nJesse Williams on bass is an alchemist of groove\, spinning each note into a rhythmic tapestry. His Grammy-nominated escapades with the likes of Duke Robillard and Joe Louis Walker have endowed him with a bass prowess that’s both fluid and formidable. \nTom Arey behind the drums is nothing short of a powerhouse\, orchestrating beats and fills with the finesse of a seasoned composer. His tenure with Peter Wolf’s Midnight Travelers has honed a style that’s explosive yet eloquent\, much like the Allmans’ own percussive legends. \nBrendan Tommaney on percussion is a true artist\, painting rhythms with a palette of beats and textures. Educated at the New England Conservatory of Music and seasoned with groups like Pink Talking Fish\, Tommaney brings a jazz-infused sensibility that adds depth and dimension to the band’s sound. \nPaul Wolstencroft on keyboards crafts melodies that mesmerize and transport. SUMMARY:Tanya Donelly
DESCRIPTION:Tanya Donelly first emerged in the indie-rock landscape in the early 1980s\, co-founding Throwing Muses (with stepsister Kristin Hersh)\, then later co-forming The Breeders\, before leading her own band Belly in the 1990s. With Belly she had her biggest commercial breakthrough\, notably with the single “Feed the Tree”\, earning critical acclaim and a Grammy nomination. \nAfter that success\, Tanya embarked on a solo career marked by lyrical richness\, melodic innovation\, and a shifting musical palette that embraces folk\, country\, ambient\, and indie pop textures. Her solo debut\, Lovesongs for Underdogs (1997)\, established her distinct songwriting voice outside of her band projects. \nThis Hungry Life (originally released in 2006) is a live album recorded in a unique intimate setting — a closed hotel in Bellows Falls\, Vermont — featuring largely new material\, plus a few covers and re-imagined tracks. The album reflects maturity in both voice and subject matter: themes of home\, family\, identity\, and the passage of time are woven through in her warm vocals and intimate performance style\, with the live setting giving the songs immediacy and connection. \nMarking the 20th anniversary of This Hungry Life offers a chance to revisit her work at this pivotal moment: affirming her legacy in indie rock; celebrating her evolution as an artist who has never stopped refining her craft; and presenting This Hungry Life not just as a document of a live show but as a milestone in her ongoing journey — both musically and personally. \nThe Guardian:\n“Recorded live in a disused Vermont hotel\, Donelly’s vocal\, full of personality\, soars brightly over the audience and fills you with affection for hearth and for home.” The Guardian

SUMMARY:Ana Popovic with Danielle Miraglia
DESCRIPTION:“In the 25 years since the release of her debut record\, Hometown\, tail-gunning blues virtuoso Ana Popovic has proved herself a force of nature with a vintage Stratin hand.” – Guitar World \n“Ana Popovic Melds Rock\, Blues\, and Jazz for Fiery Power” – No Depression \n“A badass with a silver Strat\, she performs the heck out of this song [“Worked Up”]\, owning it with swagger and grace. … “Worked Up” captures her love of funky grooves plus the edginess of rocking guitar power. – Rock & Blues Muse \nLos Angeles-based and critically acclaimed guitarist and singer Ana Popovic is set to release her highly anticipated album Dance To The Rhythm (Electric Heel Records) on September 26\, 2025. Produced by Popovic and Buthel\, the album showcases a groundbreaking fusion of groove\, blues\, funk\, and soul. \nBuilding on the success of her previous work\, Dance To The Rhythm pushes boundaries\, seamlessly blending infectious dance grooves (“Dance To The Rhythm” / “Sho Nuff”) with raw blues guitar and powerful lyrics. From the soulful “Soul’ution” to the funky “Hottest Ticket In Town” and the bluesy “Dwell On The Feeling”\, “California Chase\,” the album weaves a rich tapestry of musical styles\, reflecting Popovic’s masterful versatility. The ultimate jam comes in the form of a clever reimagining of Paul Simon’s “50 Ways to Leave Your Lover.” \nAna says: “One of my biggest strengths on stage is my ability to make people dance. Music should take you to a place where you can let go\, feel the groove\, and move. You want music to grab you\, to have a pocket that you can’t resist. —everything else revolves around it. Blues guitar has never really been part of dance music before\, and in that way\, it’s revolutionary. Guitar plays a central role in these tracks\, breaking down the boundaries created by time\, culture\, and musical traditions. With this album\, I’m pushing those boundaries.” For Ana\, blues guitar is the foundation of everything in her music. Yet\, she masterfully blends genres\, effortlessly shifting from blues to dance\, jam band\, funk\, pop\, and even gospel—it’s all part of her evolving sound.\nA true pioneer\, Ana combines her blues guitar roots with bold experimentation\, redefining the intersection of blues and dance music. Ana has shared stages with legends such as B.B. King\, Joe Bonamassa\, Warren\nHaynes\, Robert Plant\, and Gary Clark Jr.\, and is an endorsee of Fender\, D’Angelico\, Jim Dunlop\, and DR Strings. \nPopovic’s commitment to her craft and fearless boundary-pushing ensures she remains one of the most dynamic forces in contemporary blues and beyond. \nDanielle Miraglia\nDanielle Miraglia (murr-Ä L e a) comes armed with a strong steady thumb on an old Gibson\,an infectious stomp-box rhythm\, harmonica and tunes ranging from heart-felt to socially conscious that will move both your heart and hips.
