Leavitt is building upon her fan base through her songwriting abilities\, catchy tunes\, pure voice\, poised stage presence and her “girl next door\,” blue eyed\, strawberry blonde\, country look. \nTo date\, this country sensation has 31 original songs. Her band\, Renee and the Renegades\, has what fans and their manager call a ‘unique’ sound. There is no one in country music that can scratch an itch for one of their original scores. Her Karen Carpenter like voice mixes Zydeco\, Irish Folk\, Pop\, Rock\, and Vintage Country. Some have characterized it as: Americana. \nRenee has been played on several radio stations in New England and Ireland\, including WKLB Country 102.5\, The Bull 101.7\, WOKQ 97.5\, the River 92.5\, North Shore 104.9\, WRKO 680\, WMEX 1510 and Ireland’s own KFM Radio. Leavitt will soon be heard on PBS\, singing the theme song “Friends For Life” for a Children’s Animated Series\, called Charlie Horse. \nRenee has even performed on stage with the likes of Gary U.S. Bonds on the Gary Leavitt and Friends show and Southside Johnny at Boarding House Park in Lowell MA.

SUMMARY:Big Head Todd and the Monsters - 40th Anniversary Tour
DESCRIPTION:TWO NIGHTS!\nSat\, 1/25 at 8PM\nSun\, 1/26 at 7PM \nIn this life\, very few friendships withstand the test of time. Naturally\, people go their separate ways and chase their own dreams. As rare as it may be for friendships to last a lifetime\, it might be even rarer for a band to stick together for the long haul. For close to four decades\, the members of Big Head Todd and The Monsters—Todd Park Mohr [vocals\, guitar\, keys\, sax\, harmonica]\, Brian Nevin [drums]\, Rob Squires [bass\, vocals]\, and Jeremy Lawton [keyboards\, lap pedal/steel guitar\, vocals]—have continued to both throw down in the studio and light up stages worldwide. Rallying around a core vision\, the platinum-selling Colorado quartet kick out the kind of blues-drenched rock ‘n’ roll bangers that make you want to rev the engine a little louder\, sing along like no one’s looking\, and live a little freer.

SUMMARY:Steve Forbert
DESCRIPTION:Steve Forbert is a true American treasure\, a fact underscored by his 21st album\, Daylight Savings Time. Like all his albums of original songs\, it’s suffused with what venerated rock journalist Robert Christgau discerned as his “omnivorously observant” songwriting\, marked by Steve’s gift for finding the deeper meaning and magic within the spectrum of everyday moments\, as well as his abundant melodic and poetic enchantment.

They received numerous awards: first they caused a stir at the Gianni Bergamo Award in Lugano\, Switzerland\, where they were awarded second prize. Due to this success\, the trio was accepted into the “Le Dimore del Quartetto” network\, which later awarded them the prize for Ensemble of the Year 2021. In the same summer they received several special prizes at the “ISA Festival” in Austria such as for the best interpretations of Viennese Classical Music\, work by Bohuslav Martinů or the Czech Contemporary Chamber Music. A few days later they won first prize at the “International Filippo Nicosia Award” in Italy. \nIn 2021\, Trio Bohémo not only received the first prize\, but also the audience prize at the “International Johannes Brahms Competition” in Austria and only a few weeks later they won the “International Parkhouse Award” in London. \nDuring 2022 and 2023\, Trio Bohémo continued to achieve successes on the competition circuit and with their debuts. The trio was on BBC Radio’s 3 ‘In Tune’ show. This was followed by first prize and prize for the best interpretation of the composition by S. Vainiunas at the “Stasys Vainiunas International Chamber Music Competition” in Vilnius\, Lithuania. A few days later they were awarded the top prize at the “International Joseph Joachim Competition” in Weimar (without awarding the first prize) and prize for best performance of a contemporary piece. The “ISA Festival” in Austria once again gave Trio Bohémo an award\, this time for the best chamber music ensemble with piano. \nIn 2023 they received first prize\, prize for the best interpretation of Joseph Haydn\, and the audience prize at the “International Joseph Haydn Chamber Music Competition” in Vienna. The trio also won third prize and the audience prize at the “Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition” in Australia\, and they were awarded three special prizes at the “ARD International Music Competition”. On top of that\, Trio Bohémo was selected to receive the prestigious prize of the “Czech Chamber Music Society”. \nThanks to the generous support of Dr. Jan Telenský Matouš plays on an impeccable copy of the Antonio Stradivari ‘Willemotte’ violin made by Florian Leonhard and on a unique violin by Matteo Goffriller. Kristina plays a beautiful cello by Fausto Maria Bertucci.

SUMMARY:Soggy Po Boys
DESCRIPTION:Stu Dias\, vocals/guitar | Eric Klaxton- clarinet/soprano sax | Josh Gagnon\, trombone | Nick Mainella\, tenor sax | Mike Effenberger\, piano | Brian Waterhouse\, drums | Scott Kiefner\, bass \nThe Soggy Po Boys spread the good news of New Orleans music across the northeast and beyond\, playing at concert halls and street corners; music festivals and burlesque festivals; bars and libraries; wherever the party requires. \nThe Soggy Po Boys\, native to New England\, have quickly become an institution. They are spreading the good news of New Orleans music across the northeast and beyond\, playing at concert halls and street corners; music festivals and burlesque festivals; bars and libraries; wherever the party requires. Part of the beauty of New Orleans music is that it’s celebrated and appreciated wherever it goes\, from the street to the theater. \nThe Po Boys formed in 2012 to shake the walls of a local club on a Fat Tuesday but have honed their sound and become more than a Mardi Gras centerpiece. Exploring the vast musical traditions of New Orleans and expanding their repertoire to look beyond NOLA jazz\, the band includes traditional Caribbean tunes (it’s been said that New Orleans is the northernmost city in the Caribbean)\, as well as Meters funk\, soul\, and brass band / street beat music. \nThere are a myriad of traditions that flow into New Orleans culture just as there are tributaries that feed the Mississippi\, and the Po Boys are eager to explore what makes the music of New Orleans so damn special. You’ll hear the heavy influence of the New Orleans sound across the band and in the stories told by their original tunes. Despite the scope of its sound\, the outfit is only seven people\, and thrives on the interplay and group dynamics that bring this music to life.
