Over the years they have honed intuitive songwriting into minimal yet lush sonic worlds\, telling stories of love and loss. Brandt’s current sound leans into grunge while keeping a sturdy backbone of indie\, folk and r&b influences. Their 2019 EP\, Lucky Ones\, was awarded the Club Passim Iguana Fund Grant\, and was followed by multimedia singles “Still Around” (2020) and “Whale Song” (2022). In 2024\, Brandt dropped “Miami Beach” and “Anniversary”\, the first two tracks of a new album to be released in song pairs. Brandt’s music has appeared on New England Indie\, Boston Songwriters to Know\, and the Best of Boston Spotify playlists. \nTHE VENTURE: The Venture is a Boston-based alternative rock band comprised of singer Sophia Wulsin\, guitarist Philip Chau\, and drummer Anna Moore. The band formed during their time at a Catholic high school\, and have since gone on to play both professional venues and Boston’s DIY circuit. According to The Suffolk Journal\, “The band’s deep friendship allows them to really connect when performing together” (Buckley). They released their first EP “Eden” on November first of this year\, which blends alt rock with jazz harmony. \nTHE RUPERT SELECTION: The Rupert Selection is an American psychedelic grunge band from Boston\, Massachusetts.\nComprising Reilly Somach (guitar/vocals)\, Sam Bouve (bass/vocals)\, Zak Brown (drums)\, Peter Crofton (guitar)\, the band has created a loyal following throughout New England with their “original voice” and “sound anchored in hard rock” (the Boston Globe). The band was nominated for “Rock Artist of The Year” back to back in 2018 and 2019 and again in 2023 by the Boston Music Awards\, was a finalist in the WZLX Rock and Roll Rumble\, and named one of the “10 Acts On The Rise In Boston” by WGBH.⁠ ⁠ Improper Magazine had this to say about the band’s live shows: “The Rupert Selection sparked the loudest crowd interaction\, with fans shouting to fill the pauses in the trio’s deft\, dynamic mash of Nirvana-Esque blasts and math-prog rhythm shifts.” ⁠ ⁠\nEmbodying everything you love about 90s grunge but with a modern twist\, the band has released 3 EPs and two full-length albums (2019’s “Priors” & 2023’s “Crumbs For The Sun”).

Under the direction of Griff Gall\, BBR has quickly developed a reputation for excellence\, regularly performing at Boston-area landmarks such as Faneuil Hall\, Symphony Hall\, the Boston Children’s Museum and the Prudential Center. \nABOUT THE ARTISTS\nBack Bay Ringers (BBR) is an advanced\, auditioned\, handbell ensemble. Under the direction of Griff Gall\, BBR has quickly developed a reputation for excellence\, regularly performing at Boston-area landmarks such as Faneuil Hall\, Symphony Hall\, the Boston Children’s Museum and the Prudential Center. Back Bay Ringers has also performed in festivities associated with the Democratic National Convention as well as the Boston Marathon. In 2016\, BBR was honored to perform at the Handbell Musicians of America National Seminar in Rochester\, NY\, and also made its debut with the Boston Pops. \nBBR was founded in 2004 as the nation’s first handbell ensemble dedicated to members and friends of the LGBT community\, and it remains open and affirming for the membership\, board\, and community. BBR performs both as a large ensemble and in smaller quartets throughout the year in both public settings and for private bookings\, and annually sponsors the Boston Handbell Festival. They have released three recordings: Merry and Bright\, Perpetual Motion and Comfort and Joy. Butcher’s signature sound and particularly his guitar work represent a skillful mix of Americana — rock\, r&b\, jazz and folk\, all of it focused through a prism built from the blues. \nALLEN ESTES\nSongwriter Allen Estes grew up in a musical family\, the oldest son of professional musicians Estelle and Phil Estes in Gloucester\, MA and began playing at age six. Phil packed the family up in the car and literally took to the open road for musical adventures eventually leading to the forming of the Estes Boys\, Allen’s seminal band. The Estes Boys performed in and around New England and by the mid 80s Allen moved to Nashville\, TN\, writing and working with Tammy Wynette\, Robert Ellis Oral\, Lori Morgan\, and Shania Twain. After 10 years\, Gloucester called him back\, and in the 90s Allen recorded with writer Frank Tedesco. This turned into Allen’s last recording\, the Souls of the Sea album. Souls of the Sea is a collection of songs about the historic seaport and fishing town of Gloucester\, MA and the people who live there. \nSAL BAGLIO\nAs a singer\, guitarist and composer\, Sal Baglio has touched all the bases that have rounded out a successful musical career. But with his recent work as a solo artist\, Baglio embarks upon a new path that looks backward in the most delightful way. Baglio’s music and solo performances dial up a past that is easily imagined in a less-distracted age where music bursts boldly out of a car’s AM radio on a summer drive or floats in the imagination of a young solitary artist learning to strum his first guitar. The band was formed when the two bands toured together. The latter band only writes songs about ice hockey. Gardner and Schneider thought it would be fun to form another rock band\, a Jewish one\, that only wrote songs about Hanukkah\, because there was a dearth of contemporary songs about that holiday. It first came to prominence near the end of 2005 with its debut album\, Hanukkah Rocks. After realizing its initial approach was rather narrow\, it continues as a band with a strong Jewish identity. Hanukkah Rocks producer Peter Katis had previously worked with Guster\, as well as a range of indie-rock acts.

Featuring dazzling special effects and traditional songs like “God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman\,” “The Boar’s Head Carol\,” and “We Wish You A Merry Christmas\,” this award-winning production was created specifically for North Shore Music Theatre and has been seen by more than one million people since its debut in 1989.

DESCRIPTION:Formed in 1997\, Lúnasa has long been one of contemporary Irish music’s leading voices. Named after an ancient Celtic harvest festival in honour of the Irish god Lugh\, the group that Folk Roots magazine once called an “Irish music dream team” was formed from members of some of Ireland’s greatest bands and over the years has proven its mettle time and again\, having sold over a quarter of a million records and collaborated with notable artists outside the tradition such as Natalie Merchant and Mary-Chapin Carpenter. They have performed more than 2\,000 shows across 36 countries including high-profile concert venues such as Carnegie Hall\, The Hollywood Bowl\, National Concert Hall (Dublin) and Paris Bercy\, and many of the leading festivals such as Glastonbury\, Womadelaide & Edmonton. \nFrom the start\, the band’s complex arrangements and unique sound reshaped the boundaries of traditional music and energized audiences the world over. Critical acclaim followed\, The Irish Echo describing the band as the “the hottest Irish acoustic band on the planet”; MOJO magazine named the band “the new gods of Irish music\,” adding that “nobody since the Bothies has wielded such a thrilling rhythmic underlay.” Billboard raved that “anybody who listens can’t help but find them contagious.” \nLunasa’s current lineup features: Trevor Hutchinson\, who achieved fame as the bassist with the The Waterboys: piper Cillian Vallely was a member of Riverdance and recorded with Bruce Springsteen: Flute player Kevin Crawford\, considered one of Ireland’s greatest flute players\, was a member of Moving Cloud: award-winning fiddler Sean Smyth\, who performed with Donal Lunny’s legendary Coolfin and accordionist Alan Kelly; Colin Farrell is a multiple award winning fiddler\, who has toured with Project West\, Grada and Michael McGoldrick: Guitarist Ed Boyd made a name for himself in the UK folkscene with bands such as Flook\, Kate Rusby and Cara Dillon.

Best described as a fun time party band\, the song “Greasy Pole” tells the tale of a 100 plus year competition where the contestants walk the length of a horizontal telephone pole coated in grease\, 20 feet over the harbor to capture a flag and achieve hero status on the streets of Gloucester.
