She also teaches private lessons in voice\, songwriting\, piano\, beginner guitar & ukulele at her music studio in Gloucester. \nOn the stage is where Alexandra comes alive. As a solo artist\, she self-accompanies on piano and guitar\, performing around the New England area. She is also ½ of acoustic duo “Alexandra and Josh”. Her music has been featured on radio stations across the East Coast\, including Boston’s 92.5 The River\, and she has appeared on television several times\, including on The Discovery Channel and with Gloucester’s 1623 Studios. \nThe Far Out is a funk and soul pop band from the north shore of Massachusetts. All six musicians have been playing together since they were kids – learning and growing through shared experiences in jazz\, theatre\, a cappella\, and orchestra. Now\, they engage their audiences with high-energy grooves\, powerful vocals\, and funky horn lines\, supported by undeniable chemistry of a group of lifelong friends. Their goal is to include audiences in their infectious joy and make funk and soul music accessible to younger generations. \nChristian Towler is a songwriter and producer from Gloucester\, MA.

The brainchild of ace Boston guitarists Ryan Taylor and Johnny Trama\, this collective\, more than a mere homage\, harness the Allman Brothers tradition as a vehicle to bring a unique and exciting experience every night. The ensemble features artists from an array of bands including – North Mississippi Allstars \,Dickey Betts and Great Southern\, Pink Talking Fish\, Neighbor\, Dub Apocalypse\, Peter Wolf’s Midnight Travelers\, Dickey Betts Great Southern\, Slightly Stoopid\, Sonya Rae Taylor\, Band of Killers and more. \nMatt Zeiner began his professional music career touring with Matt “Guitar” Murphy\, who exposed him to a fusion of blues and jazz. His journey through the realms of rock\, soul\, and blues\, playing with icons like Bettye LaVette and Jesse Dee\, has armed him with a mystical musical prowess. \nJesse Williams on bass is an alchemist of groove\, spinning each note into a rhythmic tapestry. His Grammy-nominated escapades with the likes of Duke Robillard and Joe Louis Walker have endowed him with a bass prowess that’s both fluid and formidable. \nTom Arey behind the drums is nothing short of a powerhouse\, orchestrating beats and fills with the finesse of a seasoned composer. His tenure with Peter Wolf’s Midnight Travelers has honed a style that’s explosive yet eloquent\, much like the Allmans’ own percussive legends. \nBrendan Tommaney on percussion is a true artist\, painting rhythms with a palette of beats and textures. DESCRIPTION:M. Ward\, a singer-songwriter and guitarist who bridges eras with his music\, embodies authenticity and intimacy. His 2023 album “Supernatural Thing” features original songs and guest stars such as First Aid Kit and Shovels & Rope\, blending timeless American music traditions with contemporary flair. \nM. Ward has clearly mastered the whole vocabulary of American popular music and made serious decisions about how to employ it for his own ends. What Ward shares with Harry Smith’s artists and Neil Young is a context of musical and human values: authenticity and intimacy. Supernatural Thing\, Ward’s 2023 album\, features original songs sound freshly pulled from the ground\, with a little earth sticking to them. Ward’s lyric delivery has that slight rawness the ear loves\, and his voice has quiet dignity and great tenderness. Supernatural Thing is an open-hearted\, inviting album. \nThe album’s guest stars — First Aid Kit\, Shovels & Rope\, Scott McMicken\, Neko Case\, Jim James\, others — enliven the album with surprises. On “Too Young to Die\,” the women’s voices in First Aid Kit spread a light frosting over the melody\, and their Beach Boys-like chorus on “Engine 5” makes the song sound like an instant hit. The whole program has a lovely open house feeling\, reminiscent of pre-pandemic house parties. \n“The title ‘Supernatural Thing’ comes from an early thought as a kid that radio traveled the same airwaves as messages from supernatural things — and music\, especially remembered music\, is somehow tied up in this exchange\,” Ward said. \n“The sending and receiving of messages from memory and dreams seem to move along this same often broken-up wavelength. In this way and many others\, I see this new record as an extension\, 18 years later\, of my Transistor Radio record\, but this new record is better because it’s more concise and has more voices and more moods — the way my favorite radio was and still is.” \nEight of the album’s ten songs are Ward originals. There’s an unusual Bowie choice\, “I Can’t Give Everything Away” from Blackstar\, and a live rendition of Daniel Johnston’s “Story of an Artist.” \n“Bowie and Johnston are constant sources of inspiration for me\, have been for I don’t know how many years\,” Ward offered. \nPlease Note: For some non-classical concerts\, the window behind the stage may need to be covered for acoustical purposes. We do not always know which artists will need the window closed\, but at a certain level of amplification\, it is necessary.

But some things endure\, such as the formation of the Living Flag on Main Street\, citizens in tight formation wearing red\, white or blue caps\, and Mr. Keillor among them\, standing close to old neighbors\, Myrtle Krebsbach (“Truckstop”) and Julie Christensen (“Bruno\, The Fishing Dog”) and Clint Bunsen. And an a cappella sing-along with the audience singing from memory an odd medley of patriotic songs\, pop standards\, hymns\, and ending with the national anthem.

The result is an assemblage of massively talented musicians/performers with a passion for the music\, and the skills to pull it off. \nAfter their FIRST PERFORMANCE\, they were invited to participate in the Legends Tribute show at the 8\,000 seat Bank of NH Pavilion alongside some of the best tribute bands in the country. \nBeing Petty is more than just the average cover or tribute band. The two-time Grammy nominee and runner up of the prestigious Thelonious Monk Vocal Competition will be touring in support of her most recent release of American Songbook and jazz standards\, 2021’s Come What May. \nMonheit grew up on Long Island amongst a family of musicians. She made her professional singing debut while still in high school before enrolling in the Manhattan School of Music. During this time\, Monheit was thrust into the public eye with a 2nd place finish at the highly prestigious Thelonious Monk Jazz Institute’s vocal competition. \nTwo years later\, at the age of 22\, she released her debut record Never Never Land that boasted appearances from jazz legends like Kenny Barron\, Ron Carter\, Bucky Pizzarelli and others. Her follow-up\, 2001’s Come Dream with Me\, debuted at number 1 on the Billboard jazz charts. She has since released nine more records\, including 2013’s critically-acclaimed The Heart of the Matter\, and her most recent\, 2021’s Come What May. She has also appeared on the albums of many other artists over the years\, including Terence Blanchard\, Tom Harrell\, Freddy Cole\, Mark O’Connor\, David Benoit\, and Ivan Lins. Monheit has been nominated for two Grammy’s and has toured the world’s finest jazz halls with her trio. \nPlease Note: For some non-classical concerts\, the window behind the stage may need to be covered for acoustical purposes.
