SUMMARY:Music Ghosts of Jupiter featuring Nate Wilson of Moe.
DESCRIPTION:Ghosts of Jupiter\, a New England-based band\, has a rich history built on a foundation of progressive rock and psychedelic soundscapes. \nLed by current moe. keyboardist and founding member of Percy Hill\, Nate Wilson\, Ghosts of Jupiter formed in 2011. Their self-titled debut was met with regional success and critical acclaim\, leading to live performances with rock giants like Blue Öyster Cult\, Robert Randolph\, and moe. \nIn 2016\, their second independent album\, The Great Bright Horses\, solidified their sound and earned them a spot as the year’s #2 progressive rock release by the blog “prog is alive and well.” The album drew comparisons to the experimental prog of King Crimson\, the psychedelic exploration of Pink Floyd\, and the modern sounds of Tame Impala and Dungen. \nBuilding on this success\, Ghosts of Jupiter released their 2022 album\, Keepers of the Newborn Green\, on the legendary Berlin label Nasoni Records. The album received further critical acclaim\, including a five-star review and feature in the UK’s “Shindig” music magazine. The band supported the release with performances at the Adirondack Independence Festival and opening slots for psych-rock legends Earthless. \nThe current lineup features Nate Wilson on lead vocals\, keyboards\, and flute\, Thomas Lada on bass and keyboards\, Barrett Goeman on drums\, and Pierre Aleksi on guitar. With an unwavering commitment to touring and recording\, Ghosts of Jupiter continues to push the boundaries of modern psychedelic rock. \nLearn more: ghostsofjupiter.com

DESCRIPTION:By sensitively and skillfully interweaving improvised trumpet and flamenco guitar with traditional mandinka kora and vocals from Senegal\, FlamenKora creates timeless and enchanting multicultural music; a welcome balm in these troubled times. Up-and-coming Rio de Janeiro and Madrid based flamenco guitar maestro Roberto Monteiro is the newest band member\, adding authentic Spanish flair with driving rhythms and subtle\, imaginative colors. As the group’s founder and producer\, Goetze brings a special wisdom to FlamenKora\, acquired not only through decades of devotion to West African Mande music\, but also through a deep mastery of jazz composition and arrangement and a recent deep dive into the melodic and rhythmic traditions of flamenco. In 2025 FlamenKora spent June in residence at the Manship Artists Residency\, developing new compositions and deepening the project’s fusion of flamenco\, kora traditions\, and jazz. \nAli Boulo Santo Cissoko kora\, vocals A virtuoso kora player\, singer and modern griot\, Ali Boulo Santo Cissoko carries forward the legacy of grandfather\, the legendary “King of the Kora\,” Soundioulou Cissokho. SUMMARY:Dueling Pianos
DESCRIPTION:Dueling Pianos is back. Bring your friends and have a ball. Dueling Pianos is a massive “to the top of your lungs” sing along with all your friends! Two grand pianos are center-stage with a team of outrageously talented pianists that seem to know every song ever written. \nEach show is different because it’s all request. And you or your friends might get called up onstage for a bit of good humored fun and some unforgettable you-tube moments. These shows are request oriented\, interactive sing-a-longs wherein two piano players sit across from each other and trade songs. The dueling piano audience is used for the dueling aspect of the show. Audience members are pitted one-side-against-the-other. Examples of rivalries include country vs. rock\, men against women\, etc. \nDueling piano shows often take unexpected turns\, like involving wait staff members\, changing song lyrics or roasting popular audience members. There aren’t many boundaries. It’s one big sing-along party\, swaying to the music and bellowing-out familiar lyrics. You’re not just being entertained by the piano players – you are part of the show! \n“Think YOU won’t sing along? Just TRY not too…. I dare ya!”

SUMMARY:Shoebert’s Unfinished Journey
DESCRIPTION:Inspired by the true story of Beverly’s beloved gray seal\, Shoebert’s Unfinished Journey is a joyful new family operetta by Arpeggione Ensemble. \nWhen Shoebert the seal found his way to a former mill pond\, he unexpectedly galumphed into the world of another Schubert—composer Franz Schubert\, whose songs celebrate mills\, water\, and fish. \nIn Arpeggione’s heartwarming production\, Shoebert is a seal who loves music. As he searches for his own song\, he encounters remarkable figures from the history of the North Shore’s shoe and textile industries\, from inventor Jan Matzeliger to artist Virginia Lee Burton. Along the way\, he discovers not only a song\, but a place to belong. \nFeaturing two extraordinary singer-storytellers\, live chamber music on period instruments\, and original watercolor illustrations\, this charming production celebrates Beverly’s past and present with humor\, heart\, and imagination. Created as part of Beverly 400+\, Shoebert’s Unfinished Journey is a delightful experience for children\, families\, and anyone who loves a good story. \nThe operetta has been developed in collaboration with the Beverly community\, including the Beverly Council on Aging\, Northshore Education Consortium\, Ayers Elementary School\, and children who helped create artwork at Arts Fest Beverly. \nThis program is funded in part by a grant from the Beverly Cultural Council\, a local agency which is supported by Mass Cultural Council\, a state agency; by a grant from the Mass Cultural Council; and by the generosity of many individual donors. \nStory and illustrations by Andrea LeBlanc \nMusic arranged by Thomas Carroll \nAurora Martin\, soprano and narrator \nDaniel Fridley\, bass and narrator \nAndrea LeBlanc\, flute \nThomas Carroll\, clarinet \nEmily Hale\, violin \nAnna Seda\, cello \nApril Sun\, piano

SUMMARY:An American Tapestry: The Cambodian Spirit
DESCRIPTION:Come experience The Cambodian Spirit – a story of heritage\, resilience\, beauty\, and renewal \nExplore the evocative mythology that underlies Cambodia’s traditional Creation Story through an immersive blend of Apsara dance\, traditional Cambodian music\, storytelling\, and original orchestral compositions. The event features The Orchestra on the Hill\, Angkor Dance Troupe\, Cambodian Mutual Assistance Association\, and Cambodian Living Arts in a collaborative celebration of Cambodia’s remarkable artistic heritage. \nIn times of uncertainty\, humanity is often tested. Yet even through fear\, conflict\, and division\, we share a common hope: to find one another again. This performance explores that journey—from creation to conflict\, and ultimately toward peace. \nThrough the generosity of our sponsors\, An American Tapestry: The Cambodian Spirit is a FREE community event. However\, registration is required to ensure seating availability.
