Required. $36-$42 \nBy the time Duane Betts began working on Wild & Precious Life — his triumphant debut solo album — he’d already spent the better part of two decades creating his own version of guitar-slinging\, story-driven American rock & roll. \n“It felt like the right time to make something that was entirely my own vision\,” he says. “This is a record that guitar players will love\, but at its core\, it’s really a song record. It’s an album about who I am\, where I come from\, and what I believe in.” \nDuane had spent 10 years playing guitar alongside his father\, legendary Allman Brother Dickey Betts. He’d release an EP\, Sketches of American Music and co-found Allman Betts Band. \nEven so\, the need to create a full-length solo LP gnawed at him; one that nodded to his roots while simultaneously pushing ahead. Following his instincts\, Duane assembled Johnny Stachela\, Berry Duane Oakley\, John Ginty and Tyler Greenwell\, and took up an offer from friends Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks to record at their Swamp Raga Studio in Jacksonville. The album was cut to 2-inch analog tape during a series of live studio performances in 2022.

Carrying the tradition of 70’s blues and psychedelic rock music\, The Gravel Project embodies the spirit of Santana combined with the classic raw energy and moving songwriting of The Allman Brothers and Tedeschi Trucks Band. With three studio albums\, a live album and countless past performances\, the future is bright for Boston’s The Gravel Project\, and as the title of their 2022 studio album suggests\, there are “Many Miles Ahead.” \nWood and Bone\nWood & Bone is an American Roots band originating from Salem MA. Led by singer/songwriter Jesse Joseph (aka Qwill)\, the band’s sound is an ever-changing blend of harmony-driven Indie tinged Folk\, Americana\, Soul\, and Blues. The Band released the 3 song EP\, Rising Smoke in 2021\, and is currently in the studio working on a full length album as well as performing around the Northeast and beyond. \nHDRNB\nHDRnB is an original R&B/soul/groove band founded by in late 2010\, featuring Henley Douglas Jr. (sax)\, John Iltis (drums)\, Charlie O’Neal (guitar)\, Peter Fedele (guitar) and Brandon Tarricone (guitar) Squantch (trombone)\, David Walker (bass). The band features Garret Savluk (trumpet) and Yahuba (percussion) on special shows. Henley Douglas Jr.’s early career includes stints with the Big Dig Saxophone Quartet and Skin\, a Boston-based funk-rock outfit that would open for acts like the Neville Brothers and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. He founded the Heavy Metal Horns\, a band that reached international acclaim in the 90s\, and for 10 years\, fronted the Boston Horns\, a funk/jazz band also featuring HMH alum Garret Savluk. A new CD of original music is on the way.

DESCRIPTION:Slippery When Wet – The Ultimate Bon Jovi Tribute was formed in 2003 by Jason Morey after answering many inquiries of “Are you Jon Bon Jovi?”. Most notably comedian Dave Chappelle invited Jason backstage following one of his comedy shows thinking that he was the New Jersey icon. It was then that Jason knew he had to take advantage of the resemblance. \nIt’s a good thing that Jason grew up on some of the best classic rock albums such as “Slippery When Wet” and “New Jersey”. Not to mention that he was also playing a few Bon Jovi songs in his widely successful tribute to the halcyon days of metal “The White Leppard Crue”.

After relocating to Nashville\, TN in the late aughts\, Lindberg went on to collaborate with artists such as Erin Rae\, Margo Price\, Luke Bell\, and Cale Tyson—performing in revered venues such as The Ryman Auditorium and Newport Folk Festival. \nAlexandra Grace\nDescribed by most as a singer-songwriter with an old soul\, Alexandra Grace lays her thought-provoking lyrics atop a bed of folk-influenced music\, creating eclectic and unique songs. \nAlexandra graduated Magna Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music in May 2020 with a B.M. in Songwriting and Vocal Performance and a minor in Psychology. Currently\, she is focusing on performing\, songwriting\, and recording. She also teaches private lessons in voice\, songwriting\, piano\, beginner guitar & ukulele at her music studio in Gloucester. \nAlexandra released her debut EP ‘ Solstice’ on May 14\, 2021. Isabella DeHerdt and Isaac Eliot have come together to fill spaces with homegrown storytelling and Lumineers-esque vocals. Their songs are ripe with americana heartbreak\, and tell tales of growing up\, going wild\, and always coming back to the ones you love. \nTheir previous releases\, Old Cowboy and The Wick And The Flame were featured on playlists\, radio shows\, and publications like The Boston Globe\, The Greenfield Recorder (among others). The title track of Old Cowboy led them to be chosen as one of WBUR’s top 4 Massachusetts Tiny Desk entries of 2022. They toured The Wick And The Flame on the West Coast\, in New England\, and throughout other US States and received write ups from Atwood’s Magazine\, The Boston Herald\, and more. \nTheir new EP\, Scuba Diving\, dives – literally and figuratively – into four very different worlds on each unique song. Listeners are led through an exhilarating and dangerous love story\, a struggle for independence from a lineage of harsh repression\, and an internal struggle against the feeling of hopelessness brought on by quick-fix culture\, all accompanied by dynamic guitar\, thumping drums\, and echoing harmonies. This journey of lyrical storytelling and compelling sound culminates in the title track and single from the album\, a personal and intimate story of hospitalization\, a search for mental health\, fear for a friend who is facing down demons\, and the fight for understanding an ally’s role within that story.
