Come dressed in your favorite costume to explore the hallowed halls of Hammond’s castle\, the very rooms where legends of the inventor’s ghost ships were born. \nPlenty of candles cast haunting shadows\, creating the perfect backdrop for your photos. As you wander\, the haunting tunes of John Roper on Hammond’s original Chickering & Sons piano will echo through the galleries\, heightening the eerie atmosphere. Guests can savor the moment with a handcrafted cocktail or mocktail\, available for purchase\, while soaking in the chilling ambiance. \nWhether you’re searching for the ravens we’ve hidden\, following the sound of the piano’s ghostly notes\, or simply reveling in the museum after dark\, our Costumes & Candlelight self-guided tours promise a hauntingly good time. \n– Timed entrances every 15 minutes\n– 6-9 pm Tuesday & 6-10 pm Wednesday.\n– Advanced reservations strongly encouraged. \nThis program is not intended for those under 13 years of age. Guests should plan at least 60 minutes to explore the grounds and galleries of this historic museum. This event is expected to sell out. Parking is included in the price of admission\, though we strongly encourage carpooling with friends. At nearly a century old\, the Museum and grounds are not handicapped accessible and contain many stairs. \nWe recommend arriving 15 minutes early to allow time for the walk from the parking lot to the Museum and for check-in. Unfortunately\, late arrivals cannot be accommodated. If you miss the start of your timed session\, you will not be admitted at another time. Please note: all ticket sales are final\, refunds are not offered\, and exchanges for other tour times are not permitted. Heavy traffic should be considered when planning your travel time. \nHammond Castle Museum member discounts apply! All proceeds from this program will support the restoration and preservation of the Museum.

The two seek solace in ways of escaping their mother and their own misery until a visit from a gentleman caller presents the possibility of new opportunities. \nRenowned playwright Tennessee Williams opens the 2025 Season with this classic drama\, directed by Doug Lockwood. Running from June 5 to 28\, all performances are at Gloucester Stage’s Theater 267 East Main Street\, Gloucester. Showtimes are Wednesdays & Thursdays at 7:30pm\, Fridays & Saturdays at 8:00pm\, and matinees Saturdays & Sunday at 3:00pm.
