SUMMARY:Lez Zeppelin perform Physical Graffiti in its entirety and more
DESCRIPTION:4/5/25\nReserved floor & rail seating and G.A. standing. 8:00pm doors / 8:30pm show.\n21+\, Positive I.D. Required. $49.50 – $39 \nTo celebrate the 50th anniversary of the release of Led Zeppelin’s Physical Graffiti album\, Lez Zeppelin will be performing Physical Graffiti in its entirety! \nPhysical Graffiti\, the epic double-album released by Led Zeppelin in February 1975\, is perhaps the most beloved and magical of all of their recordings. Simply put\, it is the album EVERYONE wants to hear. Lez Zeppelin presents Physical Graffiti from start to finish in all of its majesty and diversity to celebrate the 50 year anniversary of its release. From the mysticism of Kashmir to the rockin’ funk of Trampled Underfoot to the progressive elegance of Ten Years Gone\, Lez Zeppelin delivers passionate\, note-for-note renditions of all 15-songs. Accompanied by a provocative and uniquely curated multimedia presentation\, this full-length\, immersive experience digs deep into the heart and soul of one of rock’s greatest albums. \nLez Zeppelin-All Girls. All Zeppelin. \nLez Zeppelin is a phenomenon. Since their formation in 2004\, the group has stunned audiences all over the world with the musicianship\, passion and gender-bending audacity they bring to the music of Led Zeppelin. Unlike the typical “tribute band” Lez Zeppelin does not seek to imitate. Rather\, they are a she-incarnation of the original. With swagger\, intensity and virtuosity\, these four women cover the entire canon\, performing hits\, deep tracks\, epic compositions and acoustic numbers with utmost authenticity\, as if they’d written the music themselves. Jimmy Page described it best after attending a Lez Zeppelin show in London: “They played the Led Zeppelin music with an extraordinary sensuality and an energy and passion that highlighted their superb musicianship.”

SUMMARY:Kids at The Cabot: Debbie and Friends
DESCRIPTION:From the moment the Debbie and Friends band launches into their first song\, “I’m Glad You’re Here\,” the children in the crowd understand their role: to participate\, sing\, dance\, jump and interact with the Debbie and Friends band. As the lyrics suggest\, “you’re part of the show.” From that high-energy opener to the ecstatic ending\, the pacing of a Debbie and Friends show perfectly aligns with the attention spans of their young audience. They’ll rock out and get the kids dancing in a theatre-sized conga line\, and then they’ll bring them down gently to relax and engage in more attentive ways. Drawing heavily from fairytales that kids will already be familiar with\, Debbie and Friends presents enough lyrical updates to keep these stories fresh\, and to keep everybody tuned in and laughing\, including the parents! Debbie and Friends has been honored with 25 national awards including the 2011 Grammy Award for their part on the Best Children’s Album that year with their anti-bullying song\, “Walk Away.” \nPerfect for families with kids ages 2-8.

If you would like to borrow noise canceling headphones\, please pick up a KultureCity bag at the coatroom. \nABOVE IMAGE: Illustrations by Chris Cyr. \nThis month\, our Music in the Atrium series celebrates Planet Earth with live performances by Johnny Fireseed. A project of Framingham-based Fireseed Arts Studios\, lead by artist and musician Patiño Vázquez in collaboration with local musicians and craftspeople\, Johnny Fireseed uses instruments made entirely from upcycled trash and repurposed items to perform original music with an upbeat eco message. The band’s inspiring sound aims to spread a message of joy\, fun and new ways of thinking about consumption and waste far and wide. \nVázquez will be showcasing instruments made from locally harvested trash and live looping to create ambient soundscapes. Come hear high-end electric guitars made from old kitchen countertops and drums fashioned from ventilation ducts and popcorn tins in an aesthetic that’s “part Victorian Steampunk with elements of mystic meditations in heart-opening layers of rhythms and harmonies.” Building loops and then improvising over the loops gives the listener a feel for the looks and sound characteristics of each instrument. Audience members are often invited to join in the fun! \nMusic in the Atrium is PEM’s live concert series that features local and visiting performers from a variety of musical traditions and styles. Concerts take place on select Sundays. Explore upcoming shows at pem.org/events.
