SUMMARY:Nirvani - A Nirvana Tribute Experience with Foo!
DESCRIPTION:Nirvani is the most authentic and electrifying tribute band to the legendary grunge pioneers\, Nirvana. Known for their accurate recreation of the raw\, high-energy performances that made Kurt Cobain and company a cultural phenomenon\, Nirvani has been selling out venues across the country. From the iconic\, distorted guitar riffs to the anguished screams and rebellious spirit\, Nirvani brings the music of Nirvana to life in a way that feels as powerful and visceral as it did in the 90s. \nNirvani’s live shows are a high-octane journey through all the hits and deep cuts that defined Nirvana’s catalog. With a stage presence that channels the chaotic energy of the original band\, they deliver an unforgettable experience\, playing fan favorites like “Smells Like Teen Spirit\,” “Come As You Are\,” and “Heart-Shaped Box\,” alongside deeper tracks that true Nirvana fans will love. Their wild stage presence\, combined with instrument-smashing finales\, ensures no two shows are ever the same.

SUMMARY:Women of Agriculture Hike at Appleton Farms

Women have shaped Appleton Farms for centuries: from Indigenous women who were the primary farmers and preservers of food\, to Joan Appleton and her ancestors\, to our current Trustees staff farmers. Learn about these women and the grit it takes to thrive as a woman in the male-dominated farm world. Get outside and moving on a winter day\, exploring the dormant crop fields\, forest trails\, and sweeping pastures of Appleton. \nAccessibility: This hike has a moderate level of difficulty on gently hilly terrain\, expect it to last approximately 2.5 hours. Be sure to wear weather appropriate clothing and boots or shoes that are appropriate for hiking in potentially wet and muddy spots or over uneven terrain\, or in light precipitation. We recommend you bring your own water bottle. Single use plastics are not permitted on site.

SUMMARY:The American Revolution: A story of the War in 28 Paintings
DESCRIPTION:1776 was more than a turning point; it marked the birth of a new world order. A bold line was drawn as ordinary people made extraordinary decisions\, declaring independence from the most powerful empire on earth. Driven by youthful fire\, they believed in the promise of liberty more than they feared the cost of pursuing it.\nHistoric Beverly proudly presents The American Revolution: A story of the War in 28 Paintings\, a once-in-a-lifetime exhibition of artworks commissioned to illustrate Senator Henry Cabot Lodge Sr.’s landmark book.\nThese paintings are featured in Ken Burns’ upcoming documentary The American Revolution. The exhibit will be on display at the Cabot House from September 6\, 2025 to July 4\, 2026. Tickets are free and open to the public
