SUMMARY:Trash Transformed: A Binational Perspective on Art and Sustainability
DESCRIPTION:The “Trash to Art” initiative\, a Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) project between Salem State University in the United States and Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico\, exemplifies the transformative power of global shared learning. Guided by Professors Tereza Swanda and Francisco González Romo de Vivar\, this project engages students from diverse cultural backgrounds in repurposing discarded materials into meaningful artworks\, promoting a profound understanding of environmental sustainability and cross-cultural collaboration. By aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals #12 (Sustainable Consumption and Production) and #13 (Climate Action)\, “Trash to Art” challenges participants to critically examine their consumption patterns and the environmental impact of human activities. \nThis exhibition takes place in Salem State’s Winfisky Gallery\, located in the Ellison Campus Center\, 1 Meier Drive. The gallery is open from 10 am to 4 pm\, Monday through Friday. \nAdditional exhibition events on April 10 include an Artist Talk from 12:30-1:30 pm\, followed by an Artist Reception.

Required. $49.50 – $39 \nTo celebrate the 50th anniversary of the release of Led Zeppelin’s Physical Graffiti album\, Lez Zeppelin will be performing Physical Graffiti in its entirety! \nPhysical Graffiti\, the epic double-album released by Led Zeppelin in February 1975\, is perhaps the most beloved and magical of all of their recordings. Simply put\, it is the album EVERYONE wants to hear. From the mysticism of Kashmir to the rockin’ funk of Trampled Underfoot to the progressive elegance of Ten Years Gone\, Lez Zeppelin delivers passionate\, note-for-note renditions of all 15-songs. Accompanied by a provocative and uniquely curated multimedia presentation\, this full-length\, immersive experience digs deep into the heart and soul of one of rock’s greatest albums. \nLez Zeppelin-All Girls. Since their formation in 2004\, the group has stunned audiences all over the world with the musicianship\, passion and gender-bending audacity they bring to the music of Led Zeppelin. Unlike the typical “tribute band” Lez Zeppelin does not seek to imitate. Rather\, they are a she-incarnation of the original. With swagger\, intensity and virtuosity\, these four women cover the entire canon\, performing hits\, deep tracks\, epic compositions and acoustic numbers with utmost authenticity\, as if they’d written the music themselves. Jimmy Page described it best after attending a Lez Zeppelin show in London: “They played the Led Zeppelin music with an extraordinary sensuality and an energy and passion that highlighted their superb musicianship.”

SUMMARY:Lez Zeppelin perform Physical Graffiti in its entirety and more
DESCRIPTION:4/5/25\nReserved floor & rail seating and G.A. standing. 8:00pm doors / 8:30pm show.\n21+\, Positive I.D. Lez Zeppelin presents Physical Graffiti from start to finish in all of its majesty and diversity to celebrate the 50 year anniversary of its release. All Zeppelin. \nLez Zeppelin is a phenomenon.
