Six Ways of Seeing the World\, curated by Gabrielle Rossmer\, offers a compelling look at how visual art helps us process\, respond to\, and shape our understanding of the contemporary world. \nThrough diverse media—painting\, photography\, sculpture\, drawing\, and collage—these six artists examine the intersections of inner life and external forces. While their approaches and mediums vary\, they share a commitment to introspection\, craft\, and a meaningful engagement with today’s fractured landscape. \nTogether\, these artists demonstrate six unique but interconnected ways of seeing. Their works push the boundaries of their chosen media\, reflecting on today’s world with vulnerability\, insight\, and artistic rigor.

This tour was developed in conjunction with the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution. \nStroll with a CAM Docent for about 1 1/2 hours as you walk Middle Street in downtown Gloucester. \nWhere to Meet?\nThough the Downtown Campus is currently closed for renovations until the spring of 2026\, the tour will gather at the courtyard attached to the Museum on 27 Pleasant Street. SUMMARY:Dueling Pianos Summer Show
DESCRIPTION:7/12/25\nReserved Seating $25\nStanding $12.50\n7:00pm Doors\, 8:00pm Show\n21+\, Positive I.D. Required \nDueling Pianos is back. Bring your friends and have a Ball. Dueling Pianos is a massive “to the top of your lungs” sing along with all your friends! Two grand pianos are center-stage with a team of outrageously talented pianists that seem to know every song ever written. \nEach show is different because it’s all request. And you or your friends might get called up onstage for a bit of good humored fun and some unforgettable u-tube moments. These shows are request oriented\, interactive sing-a-longs wherein two piano players sit across from each other and trade songs. The dueling piano audience is used for the dueling aspect of the show. Audience members are pitted one-side-against-the-other. Examples of rivalries include country vs. rock\, men against women\, etc. \nPeople do love to interact and have fun. The piano players act as the “Entertainment Directors\,” responsible for maintaining enthusiasm and maximizing laughs. Hand-picked from only the finest regional talent\, they are experts on keeping audience members involved\, happy and singing. \nDueling piano shows often take unexpected turns\, like involving wait staff members\, changing song lyrics or roasting popular audience members. There aren’t many boundaries. It’s an all-ages show that is the perfect entertainment anyone who like to have fun; one big sing-along party\, swaying to the music and bellowing-out familiar lyrics. You’re not just being entertained by the piano players – you are part of the show! \n“Think YOU won’t sing along? Just TRY not too…. I dare ya!”
